I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I’m only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

>This is a privately owned cabin is located and managed by White Rock Resort staff.
>The upstairs loft is a "non-standing loft" which is primarily for sleeping (4 foot from floor to ceiling)
>Cabins only have heating, no A/C.
>To preserve the peaceful ambiance and natural atmosphere, deck lighting is intentionally kept minimal.

>Please note: This is a strict non-smoking cabin ($75 penalty) and IS dog-friendly (Up to 2 pets, MAX 50 lbs each) and we charge a $75 one time pet fee. Pets SHOULD NOT be left alone in the cabins and are strictly prohibited in the upstairs non-standing loft.
>Failure to disclose a pet will result in a $150 fine.
>Our pet walking area is the large grass area in front of the main building. Waste must be picked up and disposed of in the trash bins provided.

>Due to the remote location, the cabins have smaller water tanks (20 gallons). USE HOT WATER SPARINGLY. If water has cooled, it takes about 20-45 minutes to re-heat.
>Given the remote location and inclement weather, please note that Wi-Fi/internet may be affected.

Enjoyed this cozy Cabin on the beach. Clean hot jacuzzi, lots of streaming options, nearby trails and private beach trail all contributed to a wonderful weekend getaway. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Astonishing views and comfortable cabin although it could use some paint and a new mattress! Host and onsite care taker were outstanding. Beach is the best and least crowded we’ve found.

Peaceful Ocean Stay

The view from the deck was outstanding. We spent six relaxing days enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at the cabin. There was a problem with the oven, however, the management was quick to solve the problem. The prompt responses from the management was greatly appreciated. We are already planning our next stay!

This was probably one of the best short vacations we have ever had. We were able to relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sunset and moon rise. The pictures were just as they showed. The sights and sounds of waves crashing were mesmerizing and healing for all of us, including our pets. We only had a short trip down some stairs to have our feet on the sand and able to explore the tide pools, spotting starfish and sea anime. We were able to try some of the fine dining and a local bakery. We had to try their local pizza place that were all very delicious. We were also greeted with some chocolate chip muffins and they provided the coffee. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary cooking items and seasonings. The towels were white and plush and the sheets were so soft. We were also able to watch the pelicans all day and even spotted a mother porpoise and her baby one of the morning. We highly recommend.

As good as we hoped!

When you see the amazing view and private beach you might wonder, what's the catch? There really isn't one. If I were to be critical, this particular cabin is well-worn, however it was clean and well-cared-for and that's what matters. The location was incredible, the hot tub was delightful, the beach you have access to just steps from the door is wonderful and perfect for dogs. There's nothing like seeing the misty mornings on the deck with coffee, and catching a gorgeous sunset from the hot tub. We had a great time and are already talking about coming back!

Great Northern California Beach getaway

This is a wonderful place to get away for a romantic weekend. The condo is right on the ocean There is a hot tub on the deck overlooking the beach, where the waves are breaking You can walk on the beach morning or evening. And don’t miss the Jedediah Smith redwoods on the way to and from White Rock. The redwood Groves are so majestic and fabulous for short walks Brookings also offers several good restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking in the condo We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning in the near future

Seaside Bliss

This charming little house with the ocean view was a winner! It was clean, with perfectly inspiring relax at the seaside decor, with a stellar hot tub. It was exactly as described. The management was excellent and responsive to replace a burned out entry light and to supply some dishwasher cubes. The main floor bedroom mattress left something to be desired but that is the only improvement that could be made.

Cabin # 12

The location and ocean view was amazing! Cabin 12 is quaint and comfortable. The deck and deck furniture is beautiful and modern. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities; coffee pot, microwave dishes and dish washer. The hot tub/jacuzzi was clean and wonderful. A few cosmetic updates would be advised. The furniture was well used but comfortable. The only complaint was the bed in the master bedroom was in poor shape and was very uncomfortable. We had a lovely 5 days in cabin # 12, and I would recommend it to any ocean loving vacationers.

NICE CABIN WITH LIMITED SPACECabin 12 is situated in the best locations in this resort of cabins, a few yards from the ocean commanding great views of the coast north and south and sunsets. The deck has comfortable seating for 4 to 6 people and a well maintained circular Jacuzzi The cabin is well equipped, and nicely furnished. The gas stove works well, and there is a full set of kitchen implements. The fridge/freezer is full size but the dishwasher is small. A small dining table has four chairs. The Roku TV worked well and we were able to sign into our streaming services. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed that takes up most of the space in the bedroom. The single bathroom has a bath/shower, a toilet and one wash basin, room for one at a time.The ground floor is approximately 450 ft.² gross but the net space between furniture and cabinets where you can walk is about 325 ft.² . There is a 150 ft.² bedroom space on the second floor up a steep staircase but the ceiling height is only 4 feet up there, so as normal sized adults, we were disinclined/unable to use it. The water heater is only 20 gallons and there are clear warnings about that.(Overall, we cannot imagine more than a couple being comfortable)We enjoyed the spacious deck, parking our car right outside the cabin and the gorgeous views. We did not cook dinner and found an excellent restaurant about 10 miles away in Brookings called ‘The Black Trumpet Bistro’ for all 4 nights!

The view from the deck was beautiful. The place was clean, but alittle out dated. Everything was listed out to get in and that was made easy. My biggest complaint was the bed, it was horrible. We couldnt sleep all night, we sunk down in the mattress and it made terrible noises every time you moved. I was a little disappointed as this was a suprise and it was alot of money. I would return in a second as long as i never had to sleep on that bed again.

CABIN 12

Views are amazing, deck is nice but has deferred maintenance. The cabin itself is very small but cute. Main floor bed is unbelievably noisy, uncomfortable creaking loudly with any movement. Very little sleep for 2 nights. It needs to be replaced before renting again. Before booking and after reading 5 reviews regarding the horrible mattress, I contacted the (host) and heard back that it had been replaced. We arrived... It had not. Kitchen cabinets, drawers and wooden counter edges have built up sticky dirt. I scrapped a spot off with my fingernail. Dirty well used kitchen sponge. Only one provided. Kitchen well equipped but better care in cleaning is needed. TV issues.....disconnected on it's own. Host was extremely rude.

While we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, we were disappointed by the disrespectful and hostile behavior exhibited by you and your wife during your stay. >Mattress was replaced in August, which is what you had inquired about pre-stay. The "noisy" bed was found to be the bed frame, which we have now resolved > Kitchen: This is unacceptable as we pay premium pricing for cleaning services and will address with the cleaners >Sponge: Once reported, Heidi brought you a brand new sponge IMMEDIATELY. I will address this with the cleaning services > TV Issues: We utilize a streaming service and not a traditional cable tv. On our initial call Friday morning, you stated you couldn't get it to work due to unfamiliarity with apps on TVs. I walked you through the process to get you up and running. Your wife requested someone stop by next day to help, I did. The issue was the storm had affected the internet connection, once aware, was resolved. Overall: My experience with your reservation was very unpleasant. From our first conversation, your wife was rude and disrespectful. I tried my best to be calm, kind, and respectful, as I pride myself in my professionalism even with difficult guests. However, your wife and yourself BERATED/SCREAMED & THREATENED ME even when I tried to resolve the situation(s). I recorded the conversations to provide to VRBO as I was in disbelief that anyone could be as RUDE and DISPESPECTFUL as you both were.

Can’t beat the location

We love staying at these cabins and especially appreciate that we can bring our dog. The beach is long and perfect for walks or runs. The ocean is shallow and sandy in huge stretches by the cabins so it is nice for swimming. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. This particular cabin was well furnished even with nice patio furniture. The hot tub was clean and worked well. The tv worked well when we wanted to use it. Wi-Fi was good for streaming. The cabins are super small but this one was configured in a way that it seems a little less cramped, which was really nice. On the flip side: The queen bed was SO noisy I didn’t want to move all night. It was almost comical how noisy it was. The oven only kind of worked. We cooked a pizza in it that usually takes 12 minutes and it took 35. It DID cook eventually though. We couldn’t get a hold of the cabin manager before we left to confirm our reservation. We have had issues this year with booking agencies and wanted confirmation. When we got out there, however, we had to contact them twice, about the door code and coffee supply, and both times they got back to us right away. Over all we LOVE staying in these cabins and highly recommend them.
