This pristine getaway will be perfect for small families and couples. You'll enjoy ground-level access and a bright, contemporary interior design that capitalizes on the oceanfront location just steps from the beach, Balboa Pier, and Balboa Village.

This spectacular condo has the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor living and even includes an outdoor shower to rinse off after a long day at the beach. Open up the glass doors leading to the furnished patio and you will have the ocean breeze and sound of the tide greeting you in no time. The patio features a large gas grill and offers ultimate comfort with highlights including a dining table and a large sectional for watching sunsets and sunrises over the boardwalk! The chef of the group will also be in paradise with beautiful countertops, top-of-the-line appliances, and ample cookware like a griddle, roasting pans, crock pot, and an Oster blender awaiting them in the full kitchen!

The bedroom is well-appointed for some much-needed rest after exciting days on the coast, with features including a remote-controlled ceiling fan and ambient lighting. In addition to completely new Whirlpool appliances, a private LG washer/dryer, well-appointed furniture, newly tiled floors and countertops, wood floors, and exceptionally built cabinets, this boardwalk home also boasts remote-controlled electric blinds in the dining area that lends views of Balboa Pier, sand, and palm trees! Radiant heating keeps the whole home comfortable during rare chilly weather.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Streaming services are available with guests’ own account(s).
There is nearby construction until November 2024. Usual hours of intermittent construction Monday thru Friday 7am to 4:00pm with occasional weekday work until 6:30pm. NO construction on weekends. Rates have been discounted by 15% for all booking stays between now and November 2024 to compensate for any inconvenience.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We checked out a day early …
The home was clean and in a perfect location, however - the noise from the upstairs unit and units with a shared entry is unbearable. This would not be a big problem considering the area is booming and I didn’t expect it to be a quite place, but the unit is pet friendly and the constant noise from the upstairs renters caused an issue with our pups. The walls are so thin that at all hours of the day/night all we could hear was the constant running and pounding of the people upstairs and the entry to the unit must be right next to the bedroom because as people were coming in and out (constantly) and a child was running around (constantly) and we could hear every conversation being had all day and night long from the upstairs unit, we were forced to leave a day early in fear that our pups would bark and cause other neighbors to complain. This is not ideal for pets as there is pounding and commotion, and not any way to block out the noise from the unit upstairs. We felt uncomfortable the entire stay and although we weren’t planning on a relaxing and quiet weekend, we were not anticipating the noise to be such an uncomfortable burden. If noise from the unit above is not a concern, the place would be great for a vacation. I wish I could have enjoyed our stay.

Great location
My husband and I spent 3 days at The Palm Tree . It is clean and updated. It had everything we needed, towels, fully stocked kitchen. It is walking distance to restaurants and bars and a two minute walk to the Balboa ferry and the pier. Garage was big enough for our full size truck. The patio is large and has enough sitting for 10 people with a large BBQ. We will return for another stay for just the two of us. But if I bring the family , there is a larger rental upstairs. The only con we experienced was check out time is now 10am .
