The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Start a load of laundry (bed linens and towels.) Leave the remaining dirty items in the hallway in front of washer and dryer. Leave the comforters on the end of the bed.
All trash needs to be placed in the large trash can outside under the staircase. Do not leave any trash inside the screened in porch. It attracts critters at night.
Make sure the outdoor grill is covered. All cushions need to be taken off of outdoor furniture and put back inside the screened porch.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
