Wonderful stay at Crescent Cove

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay, the villa was clean and very well kept and stocked, and we had basically everything we needed--the location is excellent with great views, and the owner, Jorge, was very responsive and easy to work with--highly recommend!

Great Villa and location

My family and I had a great 8 day stay. The location is steps from the pool/ocean with GREAT views. The owner Jorge was great to work with before and during our stay. The separation of the floors provided a great sense of privacy for us. You will be pleased to stay here and I would certainly stay again.

Lodging for a work trip.

This residence provided us with an awesome way to unwind and relax after long work days. The neighborhood as all the amenities you could ever want. Communication with the property manager was also fantastic!

Very responsive owner

Jorge answered so many of our questions both before arrival to Puerto Rico and also when we were there. The condo was very nice and truly a short walk to the pool or beach. This was our first visit to Puerto Rico, but hopefully not our last.

Great Villa

Great clean villa , nice pool , nice resort. Plenty of towels and beach chairs . Beach was not usable due to being covered in seegressum. Would recommend a cooler and beach toys in Villa.

Hello Jenna, Thanks for your comments. We regret that during your stay we had the unexpected sargassum experiece which has impacted many places globally. Unfortunately we can not control the nature nor its climate and weather. It was unforeseen. This is very rare but it happened. We have a cooler in the villa and we will make sure to replace it. There are are several beach toys but it is difficult to satisfy every specific requirement despite we will try. We look forward to your next stay. Regards, Jorge

Great location and home

We stayed at this property for over 3 weeks and really enjoyed our stay. jorge was easy to communicate with, the townhome is on 3 levels which was perfect for our group. We had a little one (under 2). It was nice that a portable crib and high chair is at the property. The view from the 3rd floor balcony was stunning. We would not hesitate to return and are already making plans to do so

Humacao Villa Review

My family and I enjoyed ourselves very much. The property was very clean, spacious and stocked up with all supplies. Palmas Del Mar is absolutely breathtaking. Our view from the villa was beautiful. The pool and outdoor spaces are clean and very well maintained. The beach is a few steps from the pool. Humacao in general was great. Very friendly people and great authentic restaurants. Overall, our experience was great and we highly recommend staying at this location.

Great Vacation

We were very happy with our stay at Palmas. The condo was very nice and fit our family of 8 with no problems. Jorge was very nice and even met us in San Juan to give us the keys. The only downside was the ocean but that is no fault of anyone but Mother Nature! We walked up the beach to the corner and it was much calmer and less seaweed. The pool was great and very clean and the grounds were so quiet we often wondered where everyone was, We enjoyed the close proximity to Beach Bohio and the Wyndham. A great time was had in PR!

Christmas 2022

We really enjoyed our stay in Palmas del Mar, the place was great and Jorge and his wife were very communicative and responsive to issues. The view from the 4th floor balcony is wonderful and being out there with a nice ocean breeze was relaxing. Some really nice things about it included the grill on the deck, very easy to turn on and use. The kitchen had everything we could need to cook in or grill which we used. Loved the bluetooth speaker in the LR, we connected and played music while relaxing on the couch and cooking in kitchen. The TV’s worked well also. Beds were very firm and comfortable. It was nice to see the toys for swimming in the ocean like body surf boards and we definitely used and loved the 4 beach chairs. NB

Disappointed

The listing was advertised on VRBO as having a washer and dryer and the owner did not let us know until we arrived at the property that the washer and dryer was not in working order. Our stay was 3 weeks and we would not have rented the property had we known. Everything else seemed to be in working order. Overall the property was just mediocre especially for the exorbitant cost of rental.

We let you know about the situation the day of your arrival because it was when we were informed by the maintenance staff that the washer / dryer was not working properly. We hosted another family whom checked out the day before your arrival and we were never informed about this. When we were told by the maintenance staff, we immediately called the technician but he had to order the broken part and it took longer than expected. wonderful palmas villa

This is a great place to stay with lots of space. We stayed here a year ago with just our family of four and brought along three additonal teens this year and didnt feel cramped at all. The villa is very clean and never saw a bug or ant in our past two stays...even on the patios. The kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet dinner and there ia a grill for your fish or steaks. There are restaurants within walking distance and several more within a short drive. Jorge returned our texts immediately if we had any questions and would have taken care of any concerns on the spot, i am sure, if we had any. Crescent cove is beachside and has the best beach area in palmas del mar. This villa is literally a two minute walk to beach. The pool and grounds at crescent cove are immaculate. We felt very safe here. We never remembered to lock the villa and never worried about our kids exploring palmas on their own...day or night. I would highly recommend this villa and plan on returning next year!

The best vacation I've had in a long time!

Wow! What can I say about this property and the settings to Jorge's beautiful Villa. It's located in Palmas del Mar resort in Humacao and there's actually nothing negative that I can say about my stay there. Everything was just as described by the listing. Spectacular views from the third floor terrace, excellent accommodations and spacious areas, and all the ingredients you need in order to have the perfect vacation. My girlfriend and I traveled there for my birthday from South Florida and my son came down from South Carolina where he's stationed and serves as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army. We had a blast going to the Casino in the evening and enjoyed the beautiful weather we were lucky to have the whole week we were there. San Juan is only 35 minutes away and we saw all the sights of Old San Juan and visited some great restaurants there. I have some friends in Puerto Rico that came over for my birthday party and they also loved Jorge's beautiful Villa. We had a parrillada that evening with the BBQ Gas Grill that the Villa has in it's third floor terrace and laughed all night hearing some of the anecdotes and joke from my island buddies. We're planning to come down again for my birthday same time again next year and I already asked Jorge the owner who was always been very accommodating and helpful during our stay, to reserve the Villa once more for the summer of 2014. We had a great time and can't wait to come back once again! Thanks again for everything Jorge!

Great place to stay

Palmas del Mar was a great resort type area with several good dining options. We enjoyed our stay and #37 was perfect for our needs. Jorge was very responsive when we needed anything and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The only disappointing thing was the beach. Seaweed is out of control and lots of wood in the water there. We weren't able to really hang out at the beach even though it was in walking distance from the townhouse.

Condo was great!

Wonderful community, kids (teens) rented a golf cart for a couple days to drive around. Property was just as pictured on-line. Clean & nice touches to have a few starter items such as laundry pods, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, coffee, etc…Jorge was exceptional checking on us prior to arrival & during our stay! :)

Amazing Property with Ocean Views

This is an amazing property. First, it is exactly like described which is everything. The entire process was very easy. Jorge is was so easy to work with and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner both before and during our stay. This property was so comfortable, clean and had everything. When we arrived they had left coffee and milk for us. Hello! that was amazing since we arrived late at night and didn't have time to get provisions for the next morning. We utilized the pool, the beach, rented golf carts, and dined at several of the Palmas Del Mar restaurants. Our favorite was the Pura Vida. The food was excellent. The local market was easy and we purchased snacks, drinks, and breakfast items. The Pterocarpus Forrest is right there on the Palmas Del Mar Resort and we enjoyed visiting. We went back a second time just to see the very large iguanas that reside there. It is truly an amazing hidden gem. This is was an hour from San Juan and we did visit San Juan. We stayed at this property with our 2 teenagers and our inlaws. There was plenty of privacy and space for everyone. I highly recommend this property.

37 Crescent Cove was a great place to stay for our vacation (2 adults, 2 teens). All floors of the villa have a view to the ocean and pool and you can hear the surf easily from the villa. It’s about a 3 - 4 min walk to the beach. The beach was never crowded while we were there, in fact we had it practically to ourselves most days. Some folks have mentioned the waves as being big. For those who want calmer swimming you can walk a couple hundred meters up the beach to a nice area protected by a reef from the surf and enjoy calm swimming. We thought the beach was great. FYI - you can’t go on the beach after sunset (around 7) because it’s a sea turtle nesting area. No big deal for us as we were usually getting dinner after sunset. The villa has everything you need; full kitchen with plenty of cookware, plates, glasses, etc. It also has some pool noodles, 4 beach chairs, a boogie board and 5 very nice beach towels. Plenty of clean towels, hand towels, face clothes, and kitchen towels. The villa was very clean, each bedroom has a bathroom and there’s a bathroom on level 1 which is convenient. Tvs in each bedroom and on the 1st level. There is a propane and a charcoal grill on the 1st level deck/patio. AC worked great when needed. There are restraurants and a small grocery on the Palmas Del Mar resort. We did our grocery shopping at Ralph’s in Humacao which also has a Walmart supercenter and is only a few minutes from the resort. The small market on the resort is great for forgotten items, beer, wine, etcetera. We thoroughly enjoyed Puerto Rico and the villa is in a great location. Check it out!

Beautiful villa!

We rented this villa for 1 week with our 2 kids (8 and 11) and my in laws. The villa was immaculate when we arrived with water for each of us in the fridge and supplies in the cupboard to make spaghetti in case we weren't able to stop. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need (pots, pans, utensils, etc.). The villa itself was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a half bath on the main floor. The views of the ocean were gorgeous from the villa. The pool is just a quick walk from the villa and the ocean is just beyond that which kept our kids entertained the entire stay when we were at the villa. The pool area has a lot of chairs both in the sun and under a shaded structure. The beach did have some seaweed washed up onto shore but the water was warm and clean to swim in. A 10 minute walk down the beach will take you to a plaza with a grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Gorge was very responsive and made sure that our stay was the best it could be! We will be returning!

Great Villa in Palmas del Mar

We had a great time at Jorge's Villa in Palmas del Mar. The villa is nicely decorated, modern and updated. It is equipped with everything that you need. I would just suggest to Jorge to add a beach umbrella and a cooler.

Palmas Del Mar Awesome Vacation

Six of us stayed in Jorge's beautiful Villa for a week. The place is greatly located with a view of a beautiful pool and the beach on the back ground. The Villa was clean, modern and nicely furnished. Air conditioning, appliances, wi-fi, blue tooth speakers, TV, everything was in working order. The view from the terrace was amazing, specially at dusk and dawn. The ability to BBQ or cook your meals in a fully stocked kitchen was great. The resort is beautiful, great restaurants, golf courses and plenty going on to satisfy anybody. Check out the Beach Bohio at walking distance from the Villa for great piña coladas and casual dining. Whether you're active or simply want to relax, this is a great place to spend your Vacation. Jorge was a first class kind of guy working with and during our stay. We definitely will be returning to sequel the great experience and highly recommend this Villa to provide the comfort of a great vacation. Sincerely, Luis and the other 5 coconuts! :)

A Paradise for Military Families

Wow... where could I start? Jorge, the property owner made our dream vacation a memorable moment that will last in our family's records for a long time. His attentions, service and property was more than what we could have expected. Location is EVERYTHING!!! There is no other way of saying it. You are there at the beach, pool, etc. Only steps from it. The sunrise and sunsets from the balconies where to die for. Ensure you have a camera ready at all times!!! The condo is what we military families need as hotels don't work right for big families in this type of setting. The condo was more than comfortable, all we needed and more. Each kid had their own room and bathroom so no shower fights or delays occurred :) each floor was spacious and well-equipped. Just buy your groceries and done! The rules of usage hanging at the main door were amazing. "Take your shoes off, fix yourself a drink, have fun... words to live by ahhhh." The resort was well-kept and well-maintained every day!!! The guards were great! Especially Mr. Ismael at our complex - what a great gentleman to talk to and very helpful with instructions and how to make our vacation a blast while at the property every day. The Palmanova Supermarket team - man! What a great store!!! - you pay a lil'bit more for the local convenience but is worth every penny - we have a fine taste for things and we never ran short of last minute items. It's well-stocked, affordable and plenty of available items. You don't need to leave the property and that was a BIG plus!!! The different amenities in the resort, i.e. the Beach Bohio team - what a great staff! Food and drinks were great! Jesus from the equestrian center and the horseback riding experience - what a BLAST! The Target Rental team and the golf cart experience - my kids and I felt like royalty with the cart. Believe it or not your social status is measured by the golf cart you drive not your car LoL!!! The overall experience was unforgettable and affordable. The nearby hotel team was also great - many events and the Iguana's were amazing!!! Take many photos but don't try to touch them. They are there to give you a nice warm feeling of the resort but respect their space ;) I could write a novel but it was Jorge, the owner who made it great for us with his attentions, information and constant care to ensure that we had a great time. Jorge, Hermano you da' man! It will be a time-share event for us!!! LTC Rodriguez & Fam.

Extraordinary!

WOW!!! Has to be the way I start this review. Jorge, (the owner of the villa) was SO nice and kind to us from the planning stage of our vacation. It was truly home away from home from the moment we arrived. The pictures of the property that are posted do it some justice, but once there, it is soo beautiful. We stayed at Palmas del Mar in 2012 at a different resort, but hands down, this one takes the cake.. We had two nights with power issues, but it was a Palmas del Mar outage not a solo unit issue. We will definitely be keeping Jorge's contact info for future stays.

Very nice property - lots of space.

Our family (my husband and I; our daughter, her husband and their baby; my son, his wife and their two toddlers; and my single son stayed for one week. There was plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped. Because of the small children -- we ate most meals at the condo. We spent tons of time at the pool and in the ocean. We walked to the "beach bar" for beverages -- there was a place for the kids to play. The entire condo was air conditioned - Our only complaint was that the grill had an empty gas tank. We would definitely come back....

Stay at a hotel instead

the house was certainly big enough to accommodate 4 people, but there were several issues that came up during the stay. The balcony door on the main floor would NOT open. Jorge insisted it was working fine before we arrived. A gal who spoke no English came while we were gone and jimmied it open. We had to close the door for the AC to cool the place and wouldn't you know the door wouldn't open AGAIN. after round and round with Jorge a repair guy comes and replaces the latch. clearly it was not working right (probably not before we got there either). the light fixture in the room with the bunk beds did not work. This was a fan/light combo. Jorge sent the non English speaking gal who said the chain you normally pull to turn lights on was missing. Jorge insisted that housekeeping saw the little small chain prior to our arrival. REALLY? she took inventory of the little dangling chain? for what purpose? to accuse us we broke it off?? so the gal's solution was to remove the lampshade on the corner lamp. It was ugly and frankly.....stupid. but I guess her thinking this would give the room more light since the overhead light didn't work, and they had no intention of fixing it. So when these people were taking inventory of the small dangling chains on overhead fixtures they must have missed that they had not put any toilet paper or soap in ANY of the bathrooms. So after traveling from Chicago we didn't even have the LUXURY of toilet paper or soap to wash up. Mind you these things are listed in the details of the house ad. it is definitely something you'd expect in even a cheap Motel 6. This then required a trip to the store...not fun when you're exhausted from travel. THEN there wasn't a single pantry item, not salt pepper NOTHING. I've never rented a home so poorly outfitted. In the kitchen there was one garbage bag and one dishwasher tablet. Its expected that we leave the house in the condition we found it. But that means have the cleaning supplies and garbage bags available. IM ON VACATION.....Im not there to run to the store to get a 12 pack of garbage bags, when I need at most 2. nor am I going to buy a 24 pack of dishwasher tablets when I need 2. rather than rent a home Id be better off staying in a hotel. I wouldn't stay here. Also the "grounds" were not very well maintained. The pool was CLOSED for 3 days because they couldn't get the pH right....The beach had so much seaweed, it smelled bad, and was never raked up as other reviewers said.
