There are plenty of bedrooms and a decently sized common area. In the basement there is a pool table and a dartboard. Outside the basement is a lounge area with a hot tub. There are four TVs in the house that all have Roku. The property dock is a double dock with an upper deck that is good for hanging out. Beautiful lake view from the back of a cove.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at this lake house with friends and family. The house was well stocked. The space was clean, comfortable, and great for spending quality time together, with plenty of room for everyone to relax.

Owner will still take your money even when you purchase insurance for canceling... tired to cancel only 3 hours after booking and they still stold my money...
We brought a few of our teens from our youth group for a winter retreat, every one of them said that it was a beautiful house with so much to do. It also made a great laser tag arena.
This house has the perfect spot on a lake cove for swimming. We were able to bring the jet ski and boat but found ourselves swimming in the cove most often. The stairs are very steep down to the dock and the dock is shared so be aware when booking. The house had plenty of room for our family of 9 with many added amenities such as hot tub, pool table, outside tv, fire pit, etc.
The house was comfortable for our group and had so many great amenities like the hot tub and lake toys. We did have a lot of dog hair, the microwave didn’t work, and there was a leak in the ceiling because of heavy rain.
Overall it was a great trip just some minor inconveniences but our host was apologetic and responsive!
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I think future guests should be aware of what to expect. This property was a big letdown. It’s clear that it hasn’t been maintained properly and was not very clean—several things were in disrepair, like huge gaps in the floor boards where we repeatedly stubbed our toes, stained carpet, disgusting shower curtains, several cockroaches, handle missing on the freezer door, landscaping overgrown, broken dock, no lights down to the dock (they were all broken or missing), granola bar rappers under the basement bedroom bed, and this is just a few items. What really stood out was how much it felt like someone’s personal home rather than a vacation rental. Closets were filled with the owner’s belongings, there were personal items in the bathroom, and the overall vibe was cluttered and uninviting. It didn’t feel like a place designed for guests at all. The worst part was the dirty towels left in the bathroom and dirty clothes in the hamper. On the upside, the location was convenient to stores and gas, and communication with the host was okay—but that doesn’t make up for the overall experience. With some serious cleaning and maintenance, this place could be great, but in its current state, I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
When we first arrived, we weren't even sure we were in the right place because it seemed that someone was already staying there. It did not seem the house had been cleaned properly (used soaps in each bathroom not discarded, used razor, unkempt and crumb-filled refrigerator that was nearly half full - we had to move everything around to be able to put our food in). Throughout our stay we continued to see more issues, worst of all that our son was cut on some broken glass that was in the carpet of one of the bedrooms. There is no way that this property received a proper cleaning before we arrived.
The hosts communicated well with us throughout our stay, but unfortunately good communication could not fully rectify the issues with the property. The property was well-stocked, located in a peaceful and beautiful area, and had some fun amenities like a ping pong table and a hot tub, we ultimately do not feel we got full value for what we paid for.
We rented the house for our son’s graduation from Clemson, which should have been a joyous occasion. Despite the issues with the house, we “made” it joyous, but we were very disappointed with the property. First and foremost, it was not clean. We have stayed in clean, pet-friendly houses, and this was not clean! The floors were dirty, the bedding was dirty, there were cobwebs in the windows, the bathrooms were dirty, the showers became “baths” because the tubs wouldn’t drain… The upper bedroom - please be aware that it is VERY much a loft with 3 out of 8 windows covered, so no darkness, and you can hear “every”thing. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. Communication with the host was bad - especially when, in trying to get wifi, since family and guests were maxing out their data plans - we were told not to call or text - to communicate only through VRBO. There was supposedly an outage that was fixed that night, but 2 days later - still no wifi. We noticed it came on the night before we left. Downstairs bed wasn’t made when we arrived. Was told to find sheets in the closet or hamper and make the bed ourselves. The sheets we found were gross - stained, pilling… Our son’s girlfriend slept on top of the comforter. “Bar soap” was available to wash hands (eww), the toilet paper was literally the thinnest we have ever felt. Owner drawers weren’t locked, so when trying to find a place for our stuff, we saw underwear and bras and things we didn’t want to see. I could continue, but I’m out of chara
