You will love this new 4,000 square foot custom built vacation home, which sits on one acre lake view lot with forest park land all around it. The views are from all sides of the house and are truly breathtaking. The house is just around the corner from the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and just 5 minutes up the hill from the exciting South Lake Tahoe casinos. A Fine dining restaurant ' The Chart House is also closely located half way down the hill before the casinos for that special dining occasion or just plain casual relaxation. This home has it all! A large living room is open to a gourmet kitchen. This large entertainment area also have a pool table, a large wood burning fireplace, , and an entertainment center complete with digital cable, surround sound, and a DVD player. The house is also equipped with wireless broadband Internet access. You will truly enjoy the over-sized wrap-around decks off the main entertainment area and master bedroom which both have lake views.

In the master bedroom is its own get way with its own fireplace, a spa tub, an entertainment center, and its own private deck. There is another secluded deck with a large Jacuzzi tub and great view of the hillside and night time lights and a nice place to relax after a fun day of skiing or scenic hiking. The extra large basement is a great place for the kids to getaway and/or extra guests. It fells like its own apartment. For those who can appreciate the spectacular vistas of the Tahoe Mountains and Lake Tahoe all within the comfort of a large luxury home. You will love this owner built get-a-way.

Well stocked and spacious. However this was my 2nd year booking and last year I mentioned the non-functional "bed" in the room off the kitchen. This year it was still the same situation and my guests had to sleep on the floor. That "pull-out bed" definitely needs to be replaced!!! Also the BBQ "baffles" are the wrong size. Thus it is very difficult to use the BBQ without the food catching fire!! This needs to be fixed because the BBQ is always desired to cook on.The patio areas and views are spectacular. I would definitely like to book again for next summer. Many thanks for providing such a fabulous accommodation for our annual family reunion.Dr. Barbara J. Lack

The home was very nice.Well stocked kitchen.The bedrooms, linens, mattresses were very nice and well decorated. With the exception of two of the smaller bedrooms. One was the office with a hide a bed. It was well worn. We put an air mattress on it.The other small bedroom on the 1st floor was disappointing compared to the other bedrooms.We had a party of 5 couples. Over all it is a very nice property. We would definitely stay again but not with 5 couples. Kids in the other two bedrooms would be fine.

Our family gathered here to honor our son by spreading some of his ashes in Lake Tahoe, one of his favorite places. We also came together to remember my uncle, who recently passed, and whose memory was very much with us throughout the week. The home provided the perfect setting for our family to be together during such a meaningful time. It was spacious, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The separate basement apartment was a wonderful bonus, giving our large group extra space and privacy.The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. From the pool table, games, and large deck with a BBQ to the breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets, there was always something to enjoy. The kids absolutely loved the hot tub, and it quickly became one of their favorite parts of the trip.Although our time together was centered around remembering two very special people, this home gave us a place to laugh, share stories, support one another, and create new memories as a family. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate our son's life, honor my uncle's memory, and spend precious time together. We are truly grateful for such a wonderful stay.

A fantastic and cozy cabin. Our hosts were prompt in any questions or responses and the house was beautiful and plenty of space. As others have said the kitchen is very well equipped and the view is beautiful. Beds were comfy.

This stay exceeded all expectations! We traveled as a bachelor group and this VRBO was ideal. Tons of space, comfortable beds, and a fully stocked setup for relaxing. Still debating in my head whether the best part was the main kitchen/living room with the pool table or the perfect hot tub and patio views. Overall, 10/10! Great host, great location. The cabin was gorgeous with beautiful views from the multiple decks. It felt spacious for our group of 11 adults and loved the large kitchen, living room space when we all wanted to be together. The kitchen had everything you would need. Hot tub was great for the cool weather we had during our stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Hosts were great as well and very responsive.

We were happy they put a Christmas Tree up for us. Wished we could have gotten elec pot belly to work in the kitchen and fireplace in master. A few light bulbs were out. Place is really beautiful.

This might be the most amazing property we’ve ever stayed at. The views, the hot tub, the floors each feel like their own homes, the suite in the basement has everything all inclusive. The kitchen was beautifully stocked down to ziplocs. It was perfect.

This was my 16th time hosting an annual ski trip for a group of close friends. We all agreed this house was "stocked" better than any other, especially in the kitchen where we cooked a lot of meals. We all like to have our own bedrooms so having 7 separate sleeping areas was a HUGE feature and all of them were nicely decorated and close to a bathroom. The location of this house s is incredibly convenient to skiing at Heavenly on the NV side. And even with over 6' of snow in 3 days the roads were never a concern as snow removal was on an industrial scale we'd never seen before. Finally our hosts were incredibly responsive before and during our stay. Five stars!
8am on the morning after the big dump and driveway and roads were clear. Wow!

We bought this house to truly enjoy the best of Lake Tahoe. I am a custom home builder and we completely rebuilt this home in 2005. We love the beauty of the mountains and the lake and redesigned the home so we could have the best of the views in all directions. This home offers a great place for us get together with family and friends on a regular bases.

Why they chose this property

We have always dreamed of having a home just around the corner from the ski slopes while also having a view of Lake Tahoe. This home is a short distance to the casinos and many great restaurants and shopping. With this house I feel like we get the best of it all. We have a beautiful mountain setting, while being close to all the fun places to go for a change of pace.

What makes this property unique

I love the beauty of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountain areas. I enjoy time spent with friends and family either skiing, out on the water, or hiking around the lake. We love to sit on the top floor deck and watch the beautiful sunsets, or have a few drinks enjoying the heated spa on its own private deck with stunning views.
