Very clean and very well appointed! The host, Debbie, was most helpful and gracious. The location is a little out of the way, but not too far from beautiful Lake Sunapee. A good place to read, relax, and enjoy nature.

Place was great! Ideally situated (very rural and remote), it is a nice large property and was clean and convenient. A few items need fixed or updated; also unable to access the basement from the inside - need to go outside, around to the side of the house to access. Host was very friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!!

The guidebook explains there are two lock doors. A storage room and entrance to the basement. No one is allowed in the basement unless giving special permission.

Beautiful cozy, beautiful view

Host was very nice and explained everything in detail. The house was beautiful and cozy . Loved looking out the big window out into the field. House was clean, loved the cabin feel. Would love to come again!

Sugar River Cabin

The cabin is located a touch off the beaten path, just outside of Newport NH. There are restaurants, bars, and grocery stores all within a very short drive from the cabin. The hosts were very responsive any time I had a question prior to my stay. The cabin sits in a beautiful field, frequented by local wildlife - a great place to sit on the porch and watch the sunset. On arrival the cabin was spotlessly clean and had every amenity I would ever need. Debbie was a fantastic host and has a special property, I hope to stay there again next time I am in the area
