Outside, a well-maintained garden pleases the eye, and the interior leaves nothing to be desired, either. Bright, tasteful colors, natural materials and hand-picked furniture will make you feel right at home. A blessing for allergy sufferers: All rooms have been equipped with extra-hygienic tile floors.

To accommodate up to 6 people, the villa features 3 bedrooms. There, elegant furniture and plenty of space await you. The master bedroom comes with a double bed, TV and direct access to the pool area. There are two more bedrooms with double and single beds – accompanied by 3 bathrooms: Two of them are attached to the bedrooms, and one is located in the pool area. This way, you can take a shower right after swimming.

Speaking of which: Thanks to electric heating, the pool is perfect for splashing around at any weather. Enjoy the view of Cape Coral´s canal, relax on sunbeds or hop into the villa´s spa with your friends. The fun does not have to end after dark, as a special pool cage keeps the mosquitos away.

Swimming makes you hungry? No problem. Villa Mikado features a large, fully equipped kitchen. Here, you will find everything you need for cooking delicious meals: including an oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice machine, dishwasher and all kinds of utensils. Guests can have a chat on the bar stools, and right next to the kitchen, you will find a dining table for your whole family. Two more tables grace the lanai, so dining outside is no problem.

If you want to relax indoors, the villa´s elegant living area is perfect for you. Join your friends on the sofa and make new travel plans while enjoying a glass of wine – or watch movies on the extra-large flatscreen TV.

No vacation in Cape Coral would be complete without a boat ride – and Villa Mikado´s location makes these trips extra-convenient. The house is located directly at a saltwater canal, only 550 yards away from the Caloosahatchee River. This way, hobby skippers can reach beautiful getaways like Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel or Captiva Island in no time.

Motorists have every reason to be happy, too. Despite its quiet surroundings, the villa is conveniently located. In just 5 to 10 minutes, you will get to the supermarkets Publix, Walmart and Aldi. Don´t feel like cooking? Then, enjoy the international restaurants on Cape Coral Parkway, just 1 mile north of the villa. There is no shortage of things to see and do: Only a 5-minute ride separates you from the city´s public beach; Four Freedoms Park is perfect for nature lovers, and if you like exciting slides, just drive 8 miles north to Sun Splash Family Waterpark. Thanks to the nearby Cape Coral Bridge, trips to Fort Myers are no problem, either.

HOUSERULES / FAQ

Boatlift: The use of the boat dock and the boat lift (if available) is only allowed for insurance reasons when renting boats from Vacation in Florida Inc. House customers will receive a 10 % coupon via e-mail after booking for our offers on boatrental-capecoral.com

Electricity consumption: The price does not include electricity consumption. Electricity consumption will be charged after departure with 15 ct. per Kwh. Consumption varies depending on the time of year as well as the use of the pool heater and air conditioning: The average(based on an occupancy of 2-4 guests) cost of electricity per week in the summer period is $40-$60. The price may increase in winter, as heating the pool/spa and the rooms requires more energy in winter than in summer. Please also consider that the pool/spa not only requires more energy in colder temperatures but also cools down more quickly overnight.

BBQ Cleaning: Cleaning of the grill is not included in the cleaning fee. We ask you to clean the grill yourself after use. Cleaning by our cleaning team will be charged with additional $50.

Cancelation fee: Guests who cancel more than 60 days before check-in will receive a 95% refund of all payments made. For cancellations made within 60 days of arrival, no refund will be issued.

Personal Check-In: As arrival days are often stressful and it is rarely possible to arrive at fixed times, each guest will enter the house independently by using a code.
For safety and Insurance reasons, we are required to match the guests present with those of the booking made. In addition, there are many questions about the house, and it is always easier if these things are explained personally and on site. The personal on-site check-in usually takes place the day after your arrival between 9:00 - 11:00 am and it is mandatory. The person who made the booking must be present in person and must be able to identify himself/herself (identity card). We try to make the check-in as comfortable as possible so that you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

Pet friendly/service pets: If the house is offered as pet-friendly, you have the possibility to bring a pet(s). You have the option to specify the number of pets during the booking process. Each pet will be charged $25 per night.
If the property is not listed as pet friendly, pets are not allowed, with the exception of service/emotional pets. If your pet is a Service/Emotional Pet, we will require written proof from you prior to booking. Service/emotional pets do not have to be specified in the booking process and will not be charged additionally.

Standard occupancy/overnight guests: Our prices are calculated on the basis of 4 persons. Each additional person will be charged $25 dollars plus fees/taxes per night. If you specify more than 4 persons at the time of booking, this fee will be taken into account. If the number of persons increases after booking or if you receive overnight guests (even for only a few days), you are obliged to register them and pay the fee.
