Constructed in 2005, this spacious 5 bedroom and 3.5 bathroom Montreat home is located within walking distance of Lake Susan and Conference center activities and offers multiple decks with spectacular mountain views and soothing sounds of nearby Flat Creek, a Weber gas grill, an outdoor fire pit, and a recreation room. The decks include rockers, gliders, swings, and a table and chairs directly off the kitchen for outdoor entertaining. Abundant Peace is located on a low-traffic street within walking distance of Lake Susan and close to miles of hiking trails. It's also just a short 5-minute drive to Black Mountain and a 20-minute drive to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. It offers convenient and level parking for up to 5 vehicles.

House Layout: Main Level: Living room with TV for streaming; Dining table for 8 (also 2 bar stools at breakfast bar area beside the table); Fully- equipped kitchen (complete with newly-added KitchenAid dishwasher, refrigerator, and induction range with dual ovens); Laundry room and half bath. Upper Level: Primary bedroom with a queen bed, a loveseat that converts to a twin, and a private en suite bath with a large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower; Bedroom with a queen bed; Bedroom with 2 twin beds; Full hall bath Ground Level: Recreation room with a table for games and puzzles, a TV, a microwave, and a small refrigerator; Full hall bath; Bedroom with one set of twin size bunk beds and another twin bed; Bedroom with 2 twin beds. Outdoor: Firepit with patio and bench seating for up to 6; Weber gas grill; Wraparound deck with mountain views.

Please Note: Abundant Peace provides sheets and towels for your visit. For your convenience, beds will be made for stays from mid-August through May. During the summer Montreat Conference season, typically from the 1st Saturday in June to the 1st Saturday in August, the linens will be delivered to the home and available in gray laundry bags. BOTH TVs have Roku devices for streaming. This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee. There is not a bedroom on the main level. During June and July, the house rents weekly. Otherwise, there is a 3-night minimum stay, excluding holidays that require a 4-night rental.

Beautiful Mountain View

Wonderfully maintained property with all amenities. Fully operative kitchen with lot of crockery. The cook top is a little confusing with the slide buttons and sensors. A little bigger living room would have added some more benefits. The rooms are well furnished and bathrooms were super clean. Overall the stay was wonderful, the patio had a very scenic view of the mountains.
