Nestled among the green hills of the Tuscan countryside in an historic part of Florence, the Property dates back to the 14th century (with the Villa Antica being the oldest part) and is situated in the Paradiso degli Alberti (Heaven of the Alberti, family of Leon Battista Alberti renowned Florentine Architect) only 3 km from the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.

Enjoy the private swimming pool surrounded by olive and cypress trees, hearing the birdsong and the joyous ringing of the Badiuzza bells and seeing the squirrels and pheasants running around while being so close to the principal museums and architectural masterpieces of the amazing city of Florence...
during the winter months, relax by the beautiful fireplace, reading a book in the cosy atmosphere reminiscent of the bygone past...

The swimming pool area is furnished with lounges and sun loungers and has an outdoor kitchen with barbecue facility and a pizza oven. Romantic dinners or sunny breakfast can be enjoyed in the garden under the olive trees

The fascinating grounds and flower garden with old terracotta flower pots scattered around and some fruit trees are reserved for guests as part of the villa

The first floor of the Villa with its old Tower has been newly renovated with luxury finishes, travertine bathrooms and parquet flooring throughout and it can accommodate up to 14 people. There are 7 bedrooms (5 with own bathroom and 6 with king size beds) and 6 beautiful bathrooms (5 with shower and one with antique ceramic bathtub and shower) two lounges with dining area, two kitchen areas (one is open plan) and one sunny terrace for dining overlooking the gardens.
The bottom floor with the Red Banquet Lounge and the Chinese Room is reserved and can be rented on request for memorable dinners, weddings, business meetings (during your stay if you decide not to use it, it will be closed and wont be used by external guests).

The Villa Antica can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms (3 ensuite)
It has a country kitchen, fully fitted and well equipped, a dining room with beautiful volted ceiling and living room with ancient sandstone fireplace
Four bedrooms are on the top floor, one on the bottom floor.

The cottage Limonaia accommodates up to 3 people (one double bed, one sofa bed) and has its own kitchenette and bathroom (with shower and bathtub).

Parking, Wifi and fresh high quality towels and linen with welcome toiletries are provided as well as satellite tv, and children games and history and literature books.
Aircon is in every bedroom and there is two laundry rooms with washing machine and one dryer

There is a big country kitchen on the garden floor of the main villa which is reserved for cooking courses/wine tasting and private chefs (see picture)

The bus stop is 50mt from entrance to property (please inquire about timetables, as the bus runs at different times). Shops/restaurants from about 500 mt away. Bicycle can be rented outside the property (please enquire)

Cooking courses, catering, dinners can be arranged on request as well as stunning specialised and personalised tours of Tuscany up to the Cinque Terre.

Caretakers live on the property.

A “City Tax” of € 6 per person (over 12 years) per night for a maximum of 7 nights, to be brought in cash on arrival with passport copies. Rental contract to be signed and damage deposit Euro 2000 required prior to arrival.
