Beautifully Decorated Condo between The King & Prince and "The Village"

Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom condo located between The King & Prince and "The Village". Right across the street from the beach at 1st Street and Beachview Drive, the beach is just steps away! Outdoor storage closet containing beach chairs, umbrellas, charcoal grill, coolers and beach toys for your convenience.

The first level of the condo contains the entry way, half bath, kitchen, dining and living area and access to the patio out back. The sofa is a very comfortable pull-out queen bed. A Smart TV and Roku is located in the entertainment center. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom. A second bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom is located on the second floor as well. Both bedrooms contain a Smart TV and Roku. A full-size washer and dryer is conveniently located on the second floor with the bedrooms. On the third level is a private deck, perfect for sunbathing or enjoying coffee or cocktails. Our unit is and end unit and provides extra privacy.

St. Simons is an easy 5 hour drive from Atlanta. If you prefer to fly, Delta flies into Brunswick, GA, a quick 20 minute drive. All major airlines fly into either Jacksonville, FL or Savannah, GA, both about an hours drive.

For those who have never been to St. Simons, it is the most peaceful beach destination there is. It is not overly commercialized, and very relaxing. Historic sites, village shopping, a lighthouse, fishing from the pier for fishermen and site seers alike, and many restaurants all within walking distance of our condo. A water park with miniature golf is located right in 'The Village'. There are several beautiful public and private golf courses on the island. For those who want to enjoy the ocean activities or Inter-Coastal waterway; swimming, boating, charter fishing and kayaking are all near by. If you prefer the night life there are several pubs and bars filled with locals and tourists alike. Always entertaining!

This property is in a great location with convenient parking and walking distance to favorite places. It is clearly an older property and would benefit from some repairs. The ceiling fan and light in the MB did not work. The lockbox on the front door was almost impossible to open. It had to be "jimmied" open to get the face of the box to drop so the key could be accessed. This is an inexpensive item and it should be simple for guests to enter the code and obtain the key. This was not a pleasant start to an otherwise wonderful weekend. There was not bath soap anywhere but all other amenities were as stated. Someone had left an entire load of towels in the dryer and I did not see it as my responsibility to clean up behind them. If there is a cleaning service the owner uses, they need to tell them to be thorough in their work and not leave items for future guests to "discover". The beds were reasonably comfortable and the place was generally clean. There is a nice outdoor area in the back. Regardless of these minor disappointments, the place worked fine for our purposes.

We loved our stay! Condo was a couple minute walk to beach and convenient to restaurants. Condo was lovely and well supplied. The area was quiet. We will be back next year!

Great Communication

Courtenay was wonderful and ALWAYS responded quickly if we had a question. This condo is a good size for a small family like ours. We don’t spend much time indoors when we come to St. Simons, so this place was great for our needs. Just a very short walk to the beach, and they had all the beach chairs we needed. We never even unpacked the beach chairs we brought from home because we ended up not needing them. I would stay here again.

A great beach getaway spot

This location is absolutely fantastic for an intimate getaway for two; Proximity to beach access, the pier, and dining can’t be beat. If we had one complaint, completely minor, it was that one of the two bicycles provided was in a bit of disrepair, meaning we were not able to utilize them. But that’s the only thing I can think of that was not a 10/10!

Loved this cute condo. The location was perfect. The only complaint really was the air conditioner setting. It was 80 when we got there and never really cooled the upstairs until we left. I realize it’s extremely hot at this time but it would have been nice if it was turned down before check in. It could use a few more towels although it does have a washer/dryer. Otherwise it was a perfect weekend and place to stay.

Great Location

Beautifully decorated with everything you need except for a few minor repairs (bike tires, toilet constantly running, stair lightbulb and door to rooftop patio). For such a lovely condo the stair and upstairs hallway had massive stains which didn’t fit with the meticulous decor. Instructions on fridge listed an incorrect property manager and you deal directly with the owners who were accessible. Also it was challenging to put trash in the dumpster since it had a combination lock that was not easy to work in the summertime weather (heat, rain bugs). These are a easy fixes and we still enjoyed our stay. Perfect location across the street from beach access and walking distance to King and Prince and Crab Trap/Crab Daddy’s. About 3/4 mile to the Village but a nice walk or bike ride. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Close to beach, but some downfalls to stay

Location was absolutely great! Very short walk to a little beach, and easy to find and park. The space had beach toys and chairs available which was a huge plus as we didn't pack those for our long road trip. Checking in was easy, and checking out was too. I feel like this space is best suited for kids over 7 as there were tons of breakables around (super cute decorations in my opinion) but the littles had wanted to mess with them all so we ended up putting them all up and then back in their spots right before we left. Unfortunately there were roaches, stained rugs, and mold in the unit which makes me feel like the price per night does not match the quality.

Long weekend getaway

We had a great time. Location was great. There were no wash rags, dish rags or trash cans in the bathrooms. We went to the store and bought 4 wash rags, 4 dish rags and 2 trash cans. We left them. May need to get more rags. Other than that, the place was great. Thanks for letting us stay.

Fine for a weekend

Location is great. 1 block to the beach and a walkable .3 miles to several restaurants. I am taking away one star because the unit does have some issues. The carpet in the upstairs is very old and dirty. And while we appreciate the variety of pillows offered, the mattresses have seen better days and were very uncomfortable. Also there are no garbage cans in any of the bathrooms -- in fact there is only one garbage can in the whole unit and its in the kitchen. The upstairs bathrooms were not very clean -- mildew in the corners and on the shower curtain. And dirt and dust in all the drawers. No toiletries offered except some hand soap and the dispenser was empty. We just overlooked these issues as we were only there for 3 days and didn't spend a lot of time in the unit. The outside closet did have beach chairs, bikes, and a beach cart (we did not use as we had brought our own) but that is definitely a perk for guests. Unit was nicely decorated.

Ready to return to this great location!

This property is all you need when visiting St. Simons! It is easy to get to, located in a great neighborhood and really close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It is cozy and has everything you need (beach chairs, bikes, cooler, umbrella, and kitchen essentials down to the seasonings). Just book this property and bring your clothes and yourself! Be ready to relax and have fun especially on the patio or third level roof top! I loved it and I’m ready to return again! Will be booking again with the host! Any questions or concerns I was replied back with a response quickly.
