Perched on the water's edge of Henry Cove, this home offers breathtaking views of Schoodic Peninsula and Mark Island. Watch the ferry come and go and get an up-close view of your dinner being caught by local lobstermen right off shore.

The home is located in the picturesque village of Winter Harbor, a working harbor that offers shops, restaurants, bike and kayak rentals, and access to the Schoodic Peninsula, the only mainland portion of Acadia National Park. Explore Schoodic’s hiking trails, carriage paths and dramatic scenery before taking the seasonal ferry to Bar Harbor to enjoy the day investigating all that Mt. Desert Island has to offer via the Island Explorer bus system. A small grocery store is a short 5 minute walk. A 10 minute walk to several restaurants, the local 5 & 10, several art galleries, coffee shop, and bakery.

I like to bike, ski, swim, and kayak. I play the oboe in the Community Orchestra and the soprano sax in a local jazz band.

This house is about 10 feet from the water's edge so it appears like you are on a boat. Fun to watch seabirds and tide come and go. Especially out "front" in the Adirondack chairs. Cozy and comfortable. A family home.
