The property is newly renovated with comfortable furnishings and very comfortable beds and bedding. The appliances are new. The owner has many small kitchen appliances to choose from. The rental is very clean and well kept. The owner is very responsive, attentive and kind. This property is a 8 minute walk to The Gonda Building where most patient appointments are scheduled.

Fantastic stay at 518A

This was our first time to use VRBO and 518A was a great property. It was a fantastic location for our visit to the Mayo Clinic and the property had everything our family needed. The property is updated, warm, and comfortable. The host was responsive and answered all our questions about the property and local recommendations. I’m thankful for this property giving us a home away from home for our week long trip to the Mayo.

A Great Stay

Mei does a great job of maintaining a very clean and super comfy home for short-term rentals. The beds are so comfortable. Everything is very clean and well maintained. It's an easy walk to the downtown Mayo Campus as well as other amenities in the downtown area. We would certainly stay again.

Excellent Stay!

I really appreciated the cleanliness of the house, location to Mayo Clinic was perfect, spacious enough, and all the high quality amenities in the house and kitchen to be able to cook there too. Thanks for having a grill too! Parking was conveniently located by the house. The host was very prompt, flexible and understanding. Our stay was relaxing which made the Mayo Clinic better too. Thank you!

Everything was incredible. My husband was being treated at the Mayo Clinic and this place was perfect. Extremely clean with every comfort you would want. Best bath towels I have ever used. We had groceries delivered and an eight minute walk to the clinic. We will be returning.

Absolutely fabulous

The location was perfect - easy walking distance to everything we needed. The house was recently remodeled, weathertight, with responsive heat controls, lots of hot water, and appliances so new they still had stickers. It was lovely, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The owner was quick with questions before our stay and we didn't need anything while we were there. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Perfection

We loved our 10 weeks in Mei’s house! The house has been newly and thoroughly up graded. And fully appointed with everything we needed. The location is so ideal for walking to all of my husbands Mayo appointments, dining and the coop. It has been like living in a village. We arrived in July, it was hot and humid,but the AC kept us very cool.

Mayo visit

My son was recently evaluated at the Mayo Clinic, and we stayed in this home for almost a week. The access was simple and convenient as we arrived late in the evening. The home was exceptionally clean with no unpleasant smells or mustiness, and the decor was neutral and comfortable. The kitchen was supplied with all necessary items to prepare meals for the week and store leftovers if needed. The home was 5 blocks from Mayo Gonda building, so we walked to most all of our appointments. Mei, the owner, was very kind and responsive when we had questions. We will definitely seek to stay here again if we have to return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying, it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, Mei's warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident. Quiet Neighborhood: it is located in a serene and peaceful neighborhood. It provided a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The mattress and bedding were of excellent quality, providing me with a great night's sleep. The kitchen was a was spacious, well-equipped, and recently updated. I thoroughly enjoyed preparing meals there, thanks to the modern appliances and ample counter space. It made cooking a breeze and added to the overall comfort of my stay. One of the highlights of staying was its convenient location. It was within walking distance to Mayo Clinic and a variety of restaurants, catering to different tastes and cuisines. Mei's house was just a few minutes short walk away to Mayo building, super convenient. Mei's prompt and efficient communication was commendable. She responded to all my queries and concerns in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Her attentiveness and willingness to assist were truly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend Mei as a VRBO host. Her property offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat, with a well-equipped kitchen, convenient location, and excellent responsiveness. This historic SW neighborhood is one of the most desirable areas near Mayo Clinic. Many residents here are Mayo Clinic employees, which makes the area quiet, safe, and well maintained. The streets are walkable and peaceful, yet you’re only a short walk from the downtown campus. I especially appreciate the sense of community and the convenience of being close to the hospital without the stress of downtown traffic.
