If your sole concern is proximity to HITS...this is a great place....you can get there by golf cart. Other than that you need to be prepared for some suprises.(1)The "laundry" listed in the description was not there. When we asked we were told that the washer/dryer broke "a couple of weeks ago"....they did say that there were some very good laundramats in town.....90 degrees, thunderstorms and HITS...we would not have stayed there if we had known.(2)Shower in the master bath was non-functional...called host...told to call the maintance service that never called back or attempted to fix the problem. (3)No door on one of the bedrooms, with sight lines from the dining room....but probably OK because that was the bedroom that you had to walk through if you wanted to use the one shower that worked(4) Rear storm door that would like to kill you(5) Rear entry steps (with 4 treads) no railing around the opening or handrailBUT....it was convenient!

Cute and clean

We arrived quite late but Chris was very accommodating! The house was very clean with plenty of space for everyone. Super cozy for our 3 night stay! We would stay again

Staying for a wedding

Had a wedding in the area, and Chris was more than accommodating, ensuring we had the best house that fit our groups needs. He was very responsive, diligent and helpful. Definitely recommend him and his properties to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We had a fabulous stay in Saugerties! Our host, Chris, was quick to respond and get us checked-in with the greatest of ease. We appreciated the fabulous hospitality extended through Chris and this beautiful home. We will certainly be back!!

Good place to stay!

Overall, it was a great place, and perfect for our stay. There were a few signs that they were perhaps in the midst of renovations; a few windows were painted shut (but the windows were obviously new) the toilet paper holders kept falling apart, and we had to alert the property manager that the shower curtain holder fell down randomly and then appeared to break, because the tension rod would not screw tight to the walls. The kitchen was awesome, and much better stocked than I expected. The back

Cozy, comfy house

Lack of space for our clothes. Two hangers in closet, two dressers broken. Some upgrades not complete. House was very comfortable and cozy. Loved the back porch.

Lovely house, exactly as pictured

The house was really cozy and all the pictures represent it truthfully! Do not be surprised to see what is not in the picture: a little dated bath tub, doors to an attic and to an even lower basement. These can seem a little scary to some people, but the living area of the house is wonderful and welcoming. Mind to bring your own kitchen equipment if you want to cook extensively. The heating system is very responsive! For a stay with friends for two nights this was great!
