Our comfortable home has three bedrooms and one bathroom with a large backyard and private parking. Located in the village of Saugerties, we are within walking distance to restaurants, shops, movie theater, and the farmers market in town. We are minutes away from HITS, Diamond Mills, and are close to the Saugerties Lighthouse and Opus 40. Close to many hiking trails and Hunter Mountain Ski Resort is about a 30 minute drive.

Lisa’s cottage was the perfect place for my family and I during our first visit to HITS. It was wonderful to know we had an amazing home to stay after the long days and literally so close too!! We would definitely visit again ❤️

Cozy cottage

House is all a single floor, well arranged with very well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to Saugerties and grocery stores. Owner was super responsive.

What a gem!

My family and I stayed at this lovely home for a horse show and couldn’t have had a better time! The home was clean, nicely decorated, and convenient. Check in was easy and the house had everything we needed and then some. The s’mores were a special touch and were greatly appreciated. I have already booked it for the next show!

Lovely house in Saugerties

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely house in Saugerties. The house is filled with light and all the furniture is both comfortable and attractive. Everything one could need was provided, and the place was scrupulously clean. Lisa made the check-in process easy and provided a terrific welcome/information guide. It was easy to get to nearby sites, like Opus 40, the Thomas Cole Estate and Olana (if you have a chance to walk across the Hudson River Skywalk it's spectacular). All in all, a wonderful place and we hope to return.

A quaint cottage in Saugerties

My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay in Lisa and Chip's lovely home! It was clean as a whistle and was a nice, cool retreat from one of the hottest weeks of the year. The backyard and patio are gorgeous. We loved all the little extras like smore fixings, bath products and coffee. They even left a little gift for my hubby's monumental birthday, which we was incredibly thoughtful! The location was perfect and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops in cute Saugerties. Be sure to hit Main Street, the Dutch and Village Pizza! There is a set of baseball fields right behind the house and we were entertained by fireworks on Saturday night. You really get a hometown feel in this quaint home. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Hudson River Valley -- what a great home base! Thanks to Lisa and Chip for a fun stay!

Beautiful home and great location for us. Saugerties is a beautiful community and this house was great for five adults - well appointed, lovely space inside and out, walkable to downtown....Our only complaint was that air flow in the house was not ideal. The house was really hot at night with bedroom doors closed.

We came in for a weekend at HITS. The house was a perfect getaway after a long day at the show. It was so clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend the place to others and we will hopefully be returning in the future.

Very comfortable retreat in the Hudson Valley

This home was perfect for visiting family in various locations of the Hudson Valley. The home is immaculate and comfortable with tasteful decor throughout. It was cold and rainy for our trip so we couldn't utilize the expansive and nicely laid out backyard but the gas fireplace was nice and toasty on the chilly days! There was a small issue with the oven that the owners quickly rectified multiple ways which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again when visiting family.

Oh So Very Hygee

We arrived for our long weekend and felt comfortable from the moment we entered the house. It was exactly what we wanted and more. We didn't mind staying in one day when it was rainy and cold outside. We turned on the fireplace and relaxed until dinner. The house is very well maintained and had nice decor touches throughout. Our beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom had nice style touches as well. I can't wait to book again next fall! We came for our anniversary

Hudson Valley Fall Vacation

A great getaway
