Cute place in neighborhood. Nice patio area.We had a little trouble with locking the back door.Could use a little decor update…the lamps in the living room could be replaced. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
The host gave clear instructions on arrival and check out. Everything was super easy. The home was well stocked with kitchen accessories, and we had extra blankets and pillows. The porch was so lovely. We enjoyed being there so much! The location was absolutely beautiful, and the area felt safe. I would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable, clean and safe lodging. The accommodations were exactly as described in the listing. Check-in/out was easy. The host left information and recommendations about attractions and local restaurants that were of great value. Once parked, I didn’t need my car. The location was perfect for walking to see sites and restaurants. I couldn’t have asked for more.
Well situated, clean, quiet, bed comfortable. Several items need attention… fan in bedroom slow and chain gone so cannot alter speed and have to run more air conditioning, bathroom sink stopper broken, surface fan on microwave not working ( would be the only night light in the kitchen)so too dark at night.

The kitchen has a normal ceiling light. Certainly not relying on the appliance bible from the microwave to light the kitchen at night. This is very confusing. I don’t know why this guest didn’t ask us how to turn on the kitchen light she may not have seen the wall switch but surely she saw the fixture on the ceiling. If anyone needs assistance with anything they have easy access to email or call us for help!
We arrived in Savannah, Georgia to celebrate our Anniversary. It was a very nice place. It is located in a great area. We look forward to visiting again.
The city ordinance about street sweeping was a pain. I was able to find a spot on the opposite side of the street about a block away to park because parking is not allowed on Friday morning from 0030-0400 on the apartment side. There were two vehicles parked that violated this and were still there in the morning. The best part is that the sweeper did not even pass.

Parking is quite easy here which is why most reviews do not mention it. Each side of Jones Street gets cleaned once a week, on different nights. The "Friday morning" 3am sweep time signs are referring to Thursday night (overnight wee hours of the morning Friday) so guests must read and comprehend what that sign means! The City does NOT actually tow the cars for being in the way of the sweeper. But they do leave a ticket on the windshield of every car that is still parked on that side during the sweep night time window. It is very rare to get away with parking on the sweep night side without getting a citation but it is totally normal that you would not be towed for sweep night violation. It seems that the times they tow are if people park in front of a fire hydrant in the city center, or if people ignore Parade Staging signs that go up the night before St Patrick's Day. Thankfully, street cleaning tickets are under 50 dollars and not a crisis. But easy to avoid if you read the signs and swap sides accordingly! Thanks for the pro tips on street sweeping!
Such a great city to experience the joy of Christmas. We love walking on Jones with all the beautiful homes and 2 blocks away from our favorite breakfast restaurant, Clary’s. Was able to come home with many “treats’ from the Saturday Farmer’s Market in Forsyth Park. Our apartment was very comfortable, nicely appointed and pleasantly smelled very clean.
Very clean. Safe neighborhood. We like to walk, so we walked downtown every day to explore, shop and eat. There are a lot of retail stores and restaurants/bars to choose from with a wide variety of selections. We also did the hop on/off trolley which we really enjoyed.

Why they chose this property
Savannah's downtown is such a unique and beautiful design that many people who have traveled around the world name our city as their favorite place. The public green space carefully preserved throughout the downtown and the mix of gorgeous homes, shops, museums and restaurants is what makes the 1-mile Historic District a destination for over 12 million tourists a year.
What makes this property unique
When my husband and I lived in this home, we loved walking around our beautiful neighborhood and dining out frequently. The location, just steps from restaurants such as Fox and Fig as well as the Broughton Street nightlife, is the top feature of this home. Jones Street is known as the most beautiful street in Savannah, due to its grand width, its historic brick foundation and the gorgeous live oaks mixed with magnolias and palm trees. Additionally, for a single bedroom rental this apartment has a large scale including a nice ceiling height that will not make you feel closed in or have a 'rabbit warren' affect. We have decorated the entire apartment in a fresh clean contemporary fashion to appeal to guests of all ages.
