Most things are very good. The bathroom door the hinges are missing some screws and I tightened the ones that were there. The handle was also very loose so I repaired that. It would be nice if all the door hinges were lubricated so they didn’t squeak so much. The shower head is starting to spray out of places that it shouldn’t. Over all it was a good experience.

We had two family weddings in the area; the cottage was perfect for us. Clean, beautiful view and comfortable beds; great TV and WiFi. Crystal lake is charming- we will book again.

50th Anniversary Celebration

Beautiful quiet location with view of Crystal Lake. Enjoyed renting a pontoon boat as well. We used to rent a cottage up here so it holds special memories for our family. Wonderful!😊

Lovely lake vacation

A family wedding was planned and my nieces and nephews were able to attend and stay in Jennifer's property! It was very well appointed and clean. Perfect for two couples and one toddler! Very easily accessible to downtown KRYSTAL within walking distance of playgrounds and breakfast spots! They had a great time!

Great view, great location!

This was our very first experience renting a cottage on VRBO and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jennifer was amazing and communicated with us wonderfully. The cottage was perfect for our family. The view and location were great. Our teenager and his friend were able to walk to the park, the beach, up town to the stores and even went to the movies.

Wonderful

The house is in the perfect location. The lake is so clear and the home has every comfort you could want. Loved having a fire and enjoying the view. Our host went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. One of the best at communicating all the details of our reservation and also the area with things to do. She also went the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable by putting in an additional ac unit knowing it was going to be extra hot temperatures during our stay. If you are in Crystal this is the place to stay.

I would make sure there was back up lighting, example: pop lights or flash lights. We lost power for several hours, no moon, it was extremely dark. We did have our phones to use as backup, but again no way to charg them.

Peaceful Cottage by the Lake

My elderly father and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage, especially the view of the lake from the living room. Unfortunately, the weather dipped into the 40s and there was no heat in the cottage, which we weren't aware of. The host was immediately responsive to our concern, though, and sent over a couple of space heaters which helped a lot. The cottage is very modest and could use a few more upgrades (like more comfortable seating in the living room--the futon is good for an extra bed but not good for sitting!) All in all, it was suitable for the location and our visit to the area. A family with children would really enjoy the backyard and lake access, in warmer weather, of course!

Property was clean and though it was only 2 bedroom, there was plenty of room. The kitchen and living area was spacious and the back entry was large enough for an air mattress to be laid out at night, The front yard was huge and had a nice firepit area. The patio was also nice, but could use a new umbrella over the patio table. One neighbor was a bit "over-friendly", but other than that, everything else was great!

Great little cottage with dock access

We loved that the cottage had dock access! We brought our small boat and really enjoyed not needing to take it out of the water every night. We had wonderful communication with the host and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Since we had a complete rain out day, we enjoyed the board games which came with the cabin. We loved our stay and would come back for another stay!

Great View

The property was really clean. The check-in process was super easy. The owner was very responsive to questions. There’s a huge front yard for outdoor games or just to enjoy the view. It’s not on the main road around Crystal so the road noise was quiet.

This property has wonderful views of the lake and is perfect for any getaway. You will have access to a private dock across the street from the cottage, a large front yard, secluded enough for privacy but also close to the town's activities, groceries, food, and ice cream. There is also public access to the lake and a boat launch which gives the guests the option to enjoy the whole 724 acres of Crystal Lake if they choose.
