My family and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Maria. Location was beautiful, quiet, clean and central. Easy check in and check out. Loved the easy access to the beautiful beach and pool. The drive to downtown Loreto was pretty close. Great places to eat in the community of Nopolo and in downtown Loreto.
Loved the layout for traveling with group so each have their own privacy - it worked perfectly for half our group - other half stayed next door which was very convenient. This unit is light and bright compared to some we have stayed in. Very comfortable
Great stay at Casa Maria. Charming neighborhood, and nice 3-bedroom house with full kitchen suited our group perfectly. The community pools were awesome, strolling the neighborhood, etc. were much better than expected (first time visit to Nopolo / Loreto). Property access was simple and straightforward. There was a little mixup with the management company concerning our arrival date, but that was resolved amicably. Overall a great stay in an appealing community.

A great spot in Nopoló, lovely terrace with amazing views, full of hummingbirds and flowers. Convenient spot and so peaceful. The casa would benefit from some new cookware and knives. Property manager was attentive and we enjoyed our stay.
Had a little trouble getting bottled water, but finally delivered 3rd day we were there. The house is clean but plumbing needs some updating as do kitchen appliances. All In all, a good place to stay. Location was excellent!
This was an excellent choice for a stay in the Loreto area. 3 large bedrooms with individual bathrooms was a highlight, perfect for a group of friends traveling together, and the Loreto Bay community provided an incredible backdrop viewable from the rooftop. The check-in instructions sent by Vrbo were out of date, but the owner was easily reachable and reminded us the correct instructions were sent after booking. The home was clean and prepared for our arrival, and well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials. Will definitely return.
The place is nicely located, provides plenty of space, and the property management team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. With its outdoor space, it would be a great place for a dog. For people, though, a lot of updates are needed, like new beds, furniture, dishwasher, and especially window treatments. We would stay elsewhere next time.

Thank you for your review. In my response to some listed concerns, I have chosen to maintain the authentic exterior and interior of the casita. The original design of the Loreto complex was to mirror the more traditional designs of Mexico. You will find that the furniture and light fixtures were hand made in Mexico. Most other guests have found the sleeping arrangements very comfortable. The window dressings are in fact in the process of repair. You generally want to keep them down to protect from the heat and light while maintaining privacy. It is simply glorious to open the courtyard windows and enjoy the landscaping.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Loreto Bay. This home fit our family perfectly with room to spare. Had mostly everything we needed and even though our host was out on their own holiday vacation, they were great to respond in a timely manner. Loved the location! The neighborhood has shops and delicious restaurants. The pools and beach were so close. It great walking everywhere and less than a 15 minute drive from downtown Loreto.
This home is well appointed and has everything you need to have an enjoyable vacation. The dishwasher works. The BBQ works and the washer and dryer work…contrary to earlier guest comments. The rooms are separated from each other which provides great privacy for adult groups. Our party was in Loreto Bay to golf, fish and lounge by the pools. We had a great time and will be back!
We also live in Loreto Bay part time and love it although we needed to rent a casa for a week close to our home. Colleen was awesome to communicate with and was quick to answer questions and extremely accommodating. Her home is centrally located in Loreto Bay Founders neighborhood close to restaurants and shops as well as a close walk to the beach or to the golf course. The house has a very large courtyard which was nice to have. The large master suite is upstairs with lots of privacy and a desk if you have to work.
If needed, we would stay again!

She was a lovely guest and I am so pleased that they enjoyed their stay at Casa María.
This is the third unit we have rented in the community, it was clean, good condition, and well appointed. Location is conveniently close to parking and short walks to the community pool and the beach! Only challenges were lack of bath hand towels and no way to light the grill. Would rent again!

The house was very nice and big, beautiful community. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the communication with the owner was not what I expected. I got a check in email ahead of time, followed the instructions on how to get the key and it turned out that the instructions are out of date, it sent us to a management office that has not managed the property for over 8 years. In order for me to get access to the passcode to open the door to the property I had to walk around and ask multiple employees on how to access it until we were finally rendered to one of the workers who managed the property. The property had no dish soap or sponge for washing dishes only 4 pods for the dishwasher. Which we used up within the

I am sorry that my guest reports this experience. I send a welcome packet with door keyboard and WIFI information for each guest one month before arrival. Unfortunately some of my guests do not print & bring the information with them. She is incorrect about the property manager. I have been with same property manager for two years. That information is also on the welcome packet. As for the dish washing supplies, the guest stayed only several days & could have requested more supplies from the property manager. NOTE: I was on a camping trip when she arrived & when I checked messages later that day, I informed her of the sent instructions.

The place was wonderful, with a perfect location, and overall, everything exceeded our expectations. However, there was a minor misunderstanding with the host. After our stay, I received a call regarding dirty dishes left on the kitchen counter, which wasn’t accurate. We had washed the dishes and left them on the counter to dry before we departed. Aside from that, the property is very cozy, and I would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding
I arrived mid day at Casa Maria with 3 fishing buddies. This condo is bright, clean, perfectly maintained with cable TV through out. The air conditioners worked great. This is most important since Loreto is hot and humid in July. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves fishing and relaxing at a 1st rate rental. I would not hesitate to stay here again,

We love loreto bay. 2nd time to this community. Our place was great. Only issue we had was upstairs tv did not work. Would not connect to Wi-Fi. Someone came from office. But could not figure it out. Would love to have wash clothes available. Short 4 min walk to pool and 5 mi. To beach. Good location Thank you
The quiet corner facing a beautiful mountain view with extra large courtyard was peaceful and perfect for us. Low foot traffic walks. The villa was furnished with upscale COMFORTABLE furniture and beds. The kitchen was stocked with metal flatware, cooking utensils and good pans including baking sheets. The villa was super clean when we arrived. Veronica, the property manager was responsive when we couldn't figure out the a/c in the living room. We can't say enough about what a wonderful experience this week was. Best out of 5 villas we have rented! Only issue was VBRO needs to update list8ng to show proper management company and office location with hours. Thank you Colleen!
Casa Maria, a house we stayed in for nearly six weeks with my husband, our small dogs, and friends, offered a unique experience compared to our previous rentals. As a remote worker, I particularly appreciated the presence of desks in each bedroom, allowing me to set up a dedicated workstation in various areas of the house. The house boasts a spacious, bright lot with a courtyard and upper patio that receives ample morning and afternoon sunlight. Unlike many Loreto Bay homes that can feel enclosed and claustrophobic, designed for the summer heat, Casa Maria’s open layout provides a refreshing and airy atmosphere. The courtyard, with its landscaping, felt like having our own private yard, making it ideal for our dogs. There was also ample space for bicycles, beach chairs, and even paddleboards. Each bedroom was well-equipped with a smart TV, efficient air conditioning, comfortable pillows, towels, and linens. This level of amenities is not always found in other rentals. The kitchen was also well-stocked and featured a freezer with an ice maker, which was a significant plus. The communication between the owner and property manager was prompt and efficient. The owner even went above and beyond by allowing us to extend our stay, which we greatly appreciated. It is important to note that the problems noted in previous reviews are not exclusive to Casa Maria. We have experienced similar issues at many other rentals in Loreto Bay. The infrastructure may differ from what some home

Mediocre
We arrived with a message that listed going yo Bahia management company and later found out it was Bama management down the street There were no measuring tools in the kitchen and we choose these accomadations because we enjoy cooking. We were blown away to find out we were furnished with plastic silverware. Eating ice cream was a challenge. When I inquired about beach towels I was told I had been informed we were to ring our own. They have been stolen in the past so no longer furnished. I come here often and don’t have room for beach towels and will find a better furnished place in the future. Place was dark and most blinds were broken and could one opened. I think some of these issues are just the cost of doing business to offer your guests a great experience. To be fair there were a lot of great things but no beach towels and plastic silverware are game changers for us

Somewhat disappointed in this property...
Over the past few years, this is the third monthly arrangement for a stay in the Founders neighborhood. It is a wonderful area and has provided a special experience for our guests and my wife and me. Unfortunately, the home on this trip fell somewhat short of our expectations.
We had several problems....namely, the dishwasher never worked. Rodolfo said it would "be a few days". It never was repaired.
Two of the four TV's didn't work. Rodolfo checked once, never returned.
Propane..Rodolfo said he would bring another tank. Never saw him again.
Notified the owner, she said she would call Rodolfo midway thru our visit.....never heard from either one in the last two weeks.
We had some of the same issues other people have mentioned in the past: Ants, very few hand towels or wash cloths, uncomfortable lounge chairs, no shade on top floor.
On a positive note, the outside enclosed area was beautiful and well taken care of.
