The Ellsworth House @ Greenville

This Oasis in the heart of Dallas is close to everything! Walk to Greenville Ave to see a show @ The Granada, enjoy the restaurants & nightlife. Walk to Mockingbird Station to see a movie or catch the DART anywhere in Dallas (events at AAC, the Texas State Fair, or even to the airport). Walk to SMU. Go to Glencoe Park at the end of the block where you can access the Katy Trail for some exercise & people watching. Or just stay home and enjoy the pool and the peaceful neighborhood!

We offer some great amenities while you enjoy your stay. We have cool relaxing pool & spa to soak and relax in after a long day! Note* The pool & hot tub can be heated at an additional cost, upon request. There is also a fire pit that is available for use. There is an outside Television that can be used to stream any of your favorite shows.

You will be provided a door code for the smart lock on the front door the morning of check-in.

"M" Streets/Greenville Ave/SMU area. You can walk everywhere along the tree-lined streets. Easy access to the best trail (Katy Trail) for walking/biking. Plenty of restaurants and shops as well as grocery stores nearby.

Easy to get around and close to Central Expressway (75), so going places is simple. You can also get a ride-share or take the DART (light rail) to many locations. Parking is provided with enough driveway for 2-3 cars, as well as street parking.

We do have Oleander's through out the property. These can be quite toxic for pets if they get into them.

Our small family (3 people) had a lovely stay in Lower Greenville at this lovely house. The owners were super communicative and helpful, the house was clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is adorable. Bonus that there is room to park two cars in the driveway, in cas that's important to you. Our son is starting college nearby in the fall and we will definitely stay here again! Thanks for the great hospitality, Allen & Joey!

I had a fantastic stay at this charming 2-bedroom home with private pool. It was the perfect peaceful retreat for both relaxation and productivity.The private pool was a highlight — ideal for cooling off on warm days and relaxing in the fenced backyard. The well-equipped kitchen had everything needed for simple meals.The desk in the sunroom, the coffee table in the living room and the ample dining table made great work spaces. The rooms, with all their windows and automated shades offered plenty of adjustable natural light. It was a wonderful writing haven as I worked on a new project. At night, the house was cool, the neighborhood was quiet and the bedroom was wonderfully dark once the shades and curtains were pulled — perfect for deep, restful sleep.The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, and spots along Lower Greenville Avenue. I enjoyed easy access to everything while staying in a safe, quiet, tree-lined neighborhood that felt secure and welcoming.This Vrbo was ideal for a solo traveler. Responsive host, great amenities, and a true home away from home. I’d return in a heartbeat!

Overall great stay!

This property is super cute and would be a great choice for a friend group or family! Check in process was super easy and the hosts sent us lots of great information about places to eat nearby. Wish there would’ve been a little more clear info on the fact that you have to pay extra to use the hot tub, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Great pool and backyard for staycation!

We rented this house for a staycation to swim and grill. The backyard is great and love that it has a TV and covered patio as well. We really enjoyed this house!

Great Location

We had a great stay while visiting Dallas. The location was very convenient and felt safe. You can tell the area and surrounding homes are well cared for. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
