Great access to the beautiful Siesta Key beach, and convenient walking access to nearby restaurants and stores. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and we made good use of ping-pong and billiards in the office area next to our unit. We were in unit 19, the only things we missed were (1) only two steak knives were provided, (2) the dishwasher did not clean dishes or silverware very well.

Siesta Key Spring Break

The Villa was nice.It was a nice walk to the Beach from the complex. The Pool was steps from the Villa. You can drive to the Siesta Village in minutes or take the free trolley across the street. Everything was great. Their was an issue with the Dishwasher. It looked very dirty inside. Obviously, something was wrong with it. I told the office but they didnt look at it during our stay. Overall, great trip.

Perfect bungalow on the perfect beach

Our stay in Villa 19 at Island House couldn’t have been more wonderful! The house was tastefully decorated, had a fully stocked kitchen where we cooked 12 of our 14 meals. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes. The beach is unbelievably beautiful! White flour-like sand, clear, warm water and not crowded at all. There are beach chairs and loungers available on the beach but you’ll need to bring your own umbrella/canopy and beach towels. The only area that could improved is that the sofa sleeper wasn’t in the best condition and checkout time is a bit too early at 10:00am. Otherwise, everything else was great for our family beach vacation. We will be back!

Villa 19

This was our first stay at Island House Beach Resort and it didn't disappoint! The villa was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved the beach and also enjoyed the pool. The resort is centrally located on the key and was a short trolley ride (free) to the village for bars and restaurants.

Family beach vacation

My family and I (husband and 2 sons 4 and 1.5) rented this property for a fun beach family getaway. The island house was great! It was clean. This unit is right next to the pool/ office which was nice although we noticed it was one of the only ones that didn’t have a screened porch. The location is about a five minute car drive to siesta beach and 10 min from siesta key village (which has shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlors). There is a trolly that will pick you up outside the property and take you into town as well but there aren’t any beach side cafe, bars or restaurants just as an FYI. The property was perfect and had everything we were looking for as far as entertainment with the pool, beach, grills, shuffleboard, and air hockey/pool tables. A couple things I would say about this unit itself- as far as kids go, the unit doesn’t have a pack n play but you can rent from a company that was recommended by the property manager and the pickup was only a 3 min drive from the place. Also, the unit didn’t really have any children channels on the tv like Disney jr or Nick jr which would have been nice but it did have Netflix. The property had its own private beach section with lawn chairs and 2 pergolas for shade but they were located closer to the property and not by the shoreline so if you want some shade down near the ocean rent or buy an umbrella. Otherwise be prepared to bring beach/pool toys for the kids. Communication with the property manager was easy via email. We enjoyed some much needed quality family fun in the sun. I would recommend this place as a place to stay if you want everything available on site. If you want to be “in the action” youngsters want to stay closer to siesta key beach or village.

The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located next to the pool, game room and laundry. The beach is a quick walk behind the other condos.

Comfortable for our family of five

The condo itself was very comfortable. The photos were deceptive as far as how far the unit is from the beach and there are no views. I should have looked more closely at the property map. It got a little loud in the daytime being right next to the pool. The door was nearly impossible to lock and unlock which was frustrating. It would have been nice for the owners to provide more beach accessories like towels, a wagon, chairs, umbrella. The location on the beach would be nice if the red algae wouldn’t have been there. It was pretty thick and smelled horrible! We did love the sunsets from this location each night. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils etc
