The house was very clean. There’s about 40 steps to get to main entrance, wish that was in description because I have a bad knee and foot. The oven is a hot one, we cooked pizzas and had them in there for 10 minutes (they required 24 minutes) the bottoms of the pizzas were burning. And parking is very tight.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Mac’s place. We appreciated being able to stay with our pups. There was a lovely side deck off of the main room, surrounded by large mountain laurel. Very peaceful neighborhood. The location was great, just a short drive to Sugar Mountain bike park and Grandfather Mountain, coffee, groceries, etc.
The cabin is in a great location and was very clean and cozy. There are many steep steps up to the front door that could be tricky if you have any knee or leg issues. The only thing I would recommend is to have the house number in front of the house by the road as we arrived after dark and had a hard time finding the house. Otherwise we had a great time!
