This gorgeous guest house features one bedroom and one bathroom and is filled with the character and charm that will make your stay unforgettable. You'll love the unique layout and original details that make this space truly special.

Don't forget the fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the amenities you need to whip up your favorite dish. The smart layout gives you plenty of comfort if you choose to skip the restaurant and stay home for a meal or two.

Located in the heart of downtown Savannah, the guest house is just steps away from some of the city's best restaurants and attractions. And when you're ready to unwind, our private courtyard offers a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Guests can enjoy high-speed WiFi, and metered parking is available on the street. You'll also appreciate the convenience of keyless entry and security systems, ensuring your safety and peace of mind during your stay.

Experience the magic of Savannah's rich history and Southern charm with a stay in our historic guest house. Book now to experience a truly unforgettable stay in one of the city's most unique and iconic properties.

*Of note, this guest house is accessible through the courtyard, as well as the service lane in the back of the property (East York Lane).

*Additionally, the entrance to the courtyard (from East Oglethorpe Ave.), as well as the courtyard itself, are shared with other guests.

*Nevertheless, we ensure that all of our guests are here to relax and have a great time, so the shared spaces should create great opportunities to meet and mingle with similarly-minded people - which is what the Hostess City is all about!

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the guest house, the shared courtyard, and the metered street parking across the building. Please refer to the check-in guide on the app for more details.

*Note: The guest house is in a property that houses other guests much like an Inn, so we ask that the space is treated with dignity and respect at all times. Please keep noise to a minimum between 8pm and 8am as per city ordinance. Parties and events are strictly prohibited.

The Neighborhood:

When you stay in this guest house, you will be living in some of Savannah's most desirable real estate - right in the heart of Downtown! Some of the best restaurants and sights are only steps from your rich and luxurious property.

Having a car is unnecessary when living here - you can walk, ride, or bike anywhere in this part of town. Once you have booked, we will send you plenty of recommendations on what to do, see, eat, and drink while in Savannah - this list should kickstart your planning.

Convenience and grocery stores are just a few minutes walk from the historic guest house - without mentioning the plethora of cafes, bars, and restaurants. Walk through each square to shop local retailers, grab a coffee or quick bite, or park yourself on a bench and just enjoy the Savannah scenery.

Those in the mood for a true Southern meal will love being close to Mrs. Wilke's Boarding Room, with other local favorites such as 700 Drayton or Crystal Beer Parlor just a short walk or Uber ride from the property.

Popular tourist areas such as River Street and City Market are just a 5-minute walk away, while Savannah's local green space - Forsyth Park - is about 20 minutes away on foot or five minutes by car.

Once you're here, you will not want to move out!

Hurry and reserve your stay!

Getting Around:

We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city!

If riding is more your speed, we are a quick and inexpensive Uber or taxi to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley picks up just a couple of blocks away and runs every fifteen minutes to the Historic District too!

If you drove here, park on one of the many available metered on-street spots and walk or ride around Savannah. Meters are free between 8 pm and 8 am Monday through Saturday and all day on Sundays. You can also secure a parking pass for the city through the visitor center. It's a great spot to start your stay by grabbing tons of information and flyers for local businesses.

** Note: Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine when parking on the street. There are signs posted on the side of the road with sweeping times. Simply move your vehicle to a street that is not getting swept that day to avoid a ticket.

Other Things to Note:

We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors are treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay! SVR-02761
