Disappointing Experience in Arlington WA
Upon arrival, we were dismayed to discover that the host was unaware of our reservation, resulting in an uncleaned house. Despite this inconvenience, we maintained a positive attitude, understanding that oversights can occur. The host promptly began cleaning the kitchen, but abruptly left for an extended period, leaving essential tasks such as bathroom cleaning and bed changing unfinished.
The water had a peculiar odor, suggestive of well water, and the air conditioning system was non-functional. The sporadic functionality of the stove and the complete malfunction of the microwave only added to our frustration.
Additionally, the promised Wi-Fi connection was practically non-existent, due to the lack of cellular service in the area.
Compounding these issues, we were engaged in a training program during our stay, necessitating our absence for the majority of the day.
While we were prepared to overlook certain inconveniences, such as the water quality and technological limitations, a lack of communication regarding these issues prior to booking was disappointing.
Simple transparency regarding potential shortcomings, such as the necessity of bringing bottled water and the absence of cellular service, would have allowed us to make more informed decisions regarding our stay.
We sincerely hope that these issues can be addressed to improve the experiences of future guests.
