About this property

Cozy Mountain Cabin on the River

Located just an hour North of Seattle, tucked in the Cascade Mountains off the beautiful Mountain Loop Scenic byway in Granite Falls. The charming Crystal Springs cabin is perched above the alluring Canyon Creek. Expect to see breathtaking beauty and have memorable experiences offered every season. This cabin is geared to offer a plethora of experiences, adventure and relaxation all year round. Enjoy for a romantic getaway, writers retreat, friends and/or family vacation. Granite Falls is an old logging town and is a the gateway to the Mountain Loop, known for many outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking and sledding among other activities.

The space features wood-clad walls and exposed beams. Property is children and pet friendly. You’ll have the entire secluded property and cabin to yourself. Cabin was originally built as a fishing cabin back in the 1960’s. It’s since been recently fully remodeled. Inside you will find two bedrooms, one bathroom, one kitchen and a fireplace. The cabin sleeps six individuals with queen beds in both bedrooms and couch with a queen pull out. Outside you will have a large deck overlooking Canyon Creek which offers stunning views, fishing, swimming, floating, kayaking and rafting. There is a dedicated fire pit in the yard with lawn chairs provided. We also have a propane fire pit that’s located under the covered area on the back deck. We offer a jacuzzi hot tub that overlooks Canyon Creek where you can soak away your troubles and soreness while listening to the river rushing beneath the stars.

Guests have private access to the entire ½ acre property, cabin and driveway. The river level fluctuates drastically. We recommend lounging riverside on the sandy private beach area at the river’s edge in the warmers seasons. During the colder seasons, the river may be high at times. Please be cautious of the river rising while exploring.

Located in a private community. If you plan on bringing a dog, please be respectful of neighbors nearby. Do not allow your dog to roam free and ensure pet does not disrupt nearby livestock. The driveway is steep and large bended with no turnaround at the bottom. We recommend reversing down the driveway to allow for easier take off. If you do not have 4 wheel drive or are not confident with pulling all the way down, please leave your vehicle at the top of the drive which can snuggly fit 2 vehicles. Please come prepared for slippery winter driving and walking conditions. While we have done our best to ensure the property is safe for children, pets and maybe one too many folks – please be cautious and cognizant of your surroundings while roaming the property especially on the upper property near the river side and while navigating down the river pathway which is kept mostly in its natural state so beware of rocks, sticks etc while exploring.

Amazing views and comfortable property
If you are debating on booking this place just do it honestly, this cabin came with so many amenities the owners of this property truly think of so many activities. There is even a mixer and different kinds of flour for guests to bake with. The owners provide wood, starting gel, sticks, paper, lighter, and matches for the fireplace indoors, and they also provide more wood for the fire pit outside. The view of the river is absolutely stunning from the hot tub especially at night under the stars, and the owners even provide several towels for the guests, and there is a washer/dryer in the bathroom. The is a path for guests to walk down and view the river directly and its a little slippery but the views are amazing, the owners also provide flashlights but bring an extra pair of batteries just in case. In the master bedroom there is also a direct view of the river so you can look at river right from your bed. I truly cannot describe how comfortable my stay was. I even asked to check in early and the host was quick to respond and make an accommodation for me. The only drawback to the property is the drive there is a kind of nerve wracking because there are many potholes leading up to the property and parking is also a little challenging but it did come with two parking spaces so as long as you have some one help you back up you will be fine. Thank you so much for letting my family use the cabin.

Great Stay!
We enjoyed our quiet New Year’s Eve at the cabin! The place was even better than expected. The kitchen had many appliances to use. The owner was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Birthday Cabin Stay
We had a wonderful trip here! The hosts are clearly incredibly thoughtful and want everyone to have a great stay. They answered any questions we had right away and provided us with instructions for using different parts of the home. When we arrived, the home was inviting with lights on, the hot tub already warmed, and fire wood ready in case we wanted to do a fire. They also had just about any kitchen appliance that we could need to do any cooking while there, had extra hair ties, bobby pins, soaps, and just anything you may have forgotten that you would need for your stay. I would absolutely come back here!

My review
Property was good and house was fine. It was a nice place to stay while we were in town for a Wedding. Was not super impressed with cleanliness. My kids opened the hide-a-bed in the living room to watch a movie on and there was a used Condom wrapper inside. That was a fun conversation... That and lots of hair and dust under beds, first time pulling out our bags we had slid under the bed they were pretty dirty. But it did what we needed at the time. No other issues.
