Welcome to the Cozy Little Cottage! We are located in beautiful Deep Gap which is centrally located to everything that our area has to offer. 15 minutes from Boone, 20 minutes from West Jefferson, and 30 minutes from Wilkesboro. We are 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway which offers numerous spots for hiking, scenic views, or just a good road to take a drive on. Don’t get duped into booking a home way off the beaten path when are located off of a main thoroughfare and have a flat driveway! ***Guests Staying Over 28 Days***
For reservations exceeding 28 days, an additional cleaning fee will apply for each 28-day period. A professional cleaning and restocking service will be scheduled at each 28-day interval to maintain the quality and comfort of the unit.

These additional charges will be communicated and invoiced separately after the initial booking. Please note that acceptance of these charges is required to confirm and maintain the reservation. Failure to accept the additional fees may result in cancellation of the booking.

This was a good place to stay just if you like a good night sleep dont expect it the beds are old and your body will hurt other than that decent place for a get away

I had initially expected ____ to be a great guest, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. She originally booked a one-month stay and, within the first day, requested to extend her reservation by an additional month. I agreed to this extension on the condition that she commit to not cancelling, as I had other guests interested in the same dates. She gave her word that she would not cancel — however, within a week, she canceled the additional month. With five days remaining in her original stay, she requested to rebook the additional month, but by then, the property had already been reserved by another guest. She then inquired about my neighboring property’s availability. I informed her that it was also fully booked, at which point she insisted that it showed availability on her end and accused me of being dishonest. I provided screenshots of my booking calendars as confirmation, but she continued to insist I was not telling the truth. At that point, I chose to disengage from further discussion. On the day of checkout, I received a message from ____ stating that if I wanted better reviews, I should invest in better mattresses. This was the first and only complaint raised during her 30-day stay, and the mattresses in question are less than a year old. I encourage future guests to consider this review in the context of the many others we’ve received over time. We take pride in maintaining a high standard of hospitality and guest experience, and we remain committed to transparency, integrity, and respectful communication with all our guests.

Perfect Place to Stay Near App State

We stayed here for two nights while attending a travel baseball tournament at Appalachian State University. It was perfect for a family of 4 with a teen and a 5 year old. Beautiful views. Great property! I’d stay here again

An excellent place to stay if you’re looking for inexpensive with amazing views. The home itself was roomier than I would’ve thought. That’s where comfortable. Chuck was extremely communicative and asked a couple times how we were doing to make sure we had a great stay.Overall, I was very happy with the experience.
