NOTE:
* The shower is outdoors, with walls obscuring it from view of other structures on the property. The half bathroom is inside the unit. No laundry on site. No cooktop is available.

* Please keep in mind that you are visiting Hawaii countryside where the animals are a regular and important part of life. Ants, roosters, geckos, lizards, and cockroaches live alongside humans here. We will always have a clean and well-kept place for you with routine pest control, but please be advised that little visitors are not uncommon.

This is an excellent location near Waimea Valley and the North Shore. It is a small space, but don’t let that deter you. It is clean, comfortable, and well apportioned. We spent three days here and were able to cook meals and enjoy the serenity of the deck when we weren’t out exploring.

Very clean and pretty place to stay. Getting up and down the very steep driveway was a challenge. If you have any limitations with mobility this could be difficult to stay, the walk down to the place was challenging

This was a beautiful and convenient stay and very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and the wonderful views and forest location. Great place if you are looking to stay a little bit away from all the action but still close to great beaches and food. One thing to note is that parking in the driveway (which is very steep) can get tight when there are three cars, which happened frequently during our trip.

If you're about spending more time outside than inside, then this cozy spot is for you. The outdoor space is larger than the indoor space. The outdoor shower was amazing and the deck gives you that extra space because the inside is definitely cozy for two. If you're packing a lot then it might not work as there's no closet, so we were living out of our suitcase under the bed. Overall, peaceful and a great sanctuary to start and end your day.NOTE: This spot is up in a cute neighborhood on the hill and is not walkable down to Foodland as it's a winding road. This is very close to someone's home (20 yards) and has a steep driveway down with a somewhat steep walk down from the driveway to the door.

The site was tidy and clean. Great location with quick access to town/beaches. The private patio was a great place to relax after a long day. Lots of gecko friends outside. Would definitely stay again.

We had a quick stay at this quaint back house. It’s quite small but does the job. It had everything we needed - from kitchen appliances to A/C. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. Upon arrival, we were a little bit confused if we were in the right area and did not have service so recommend taking screenshots of the guide that is sent beforehand. This stay is in a great location in North Shore.

Excellent, peaceful, and comfortable. The property host sent detailed communication before my stay so finding the property and getting inside was very easy. The property itself is in a quiet, secluded neighborhood and grants the guest plenty of cozy privacy. The facilities are clean and modern, with a lovely outdoor shower. It's extremely close to the local grocery store and quick drive to anywhere in the north shore. I'm very pleased with my stay!

I enjoyed the privacy and quiet of this stay. It’s a peaceful, simple setup, but travelers should know it’s on the rustic side. The half bath is in a separate structure you access by walking outdoors, and the only shower is outside. Bugs are unavoidable (flying insects outside and ants inside). There’s limited exterior lighting, which makes getting to the facilities at night a bit treacherous. The space also isn’t weather-protected—you’ll get wet going to the bathroom in the rain, and the outdoor area isn’t covered, so I couldn’t use it during during my stay. If you’re comfortable with a more off-grid, open-air setup, it’s a solid, private spot.
