About this property
Very private super cozy cabin, views, pets welcome, coffee, fireplace, firepit
Relax with your family and/or friends in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cozy cabin with an indoor wood burning fireplace and full private side lot with a firepit. Located halfway up the mountain , enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of being the last home on the street, surrounded by the mountainside and glorious views from the large deck. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail while listening to nature.
See "OTHER DETAILS" below for things to do in the area.
The space
In addition to the fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and a dining table that seats 8, there are 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The living area has a large, solidly made queen sofa bed for extra guests, as well as several other comfortable pieces so that you may enjoy the fireplace and TV. If you need to do laundry, the cabin is equipped with a washer and dryer for your use.
Heading outdoors, take in the mountain views while sitting in a rocker on the huge deck that runs the length of the house, grill your favorite steaks, or hangout by the firepit in the side yard. There are also 2 picnic tables in the yard so that the family can enjoy a nice outside meal together. Your pets will absolutely love the fenced in yard. There is a good chance you will see Elk in the area as well.
If you are looking to get your heart pumping then take a scenic walk up or down Rocky Top Road right down from the cabin.
Guest access
The guests will have access to the full cabin, except for the owner's closet, which will be locked.

Downtown Waynesville (10 mins) has a large variety of shops, restaurants, and breweries.
For Ski Lovers…Cataloochee Ski Area is 5 minutes down Soco Road. Skiing begins mid-November and continues through March. You can visit their website to get ticket & equipment rental information.

About the host
Hosted by MARY CANGELOSI

Hi, I'm Mary. I've been a STR host for several years. I live in Georgia and have STR property in Georgia, NC, and St. Augustine Beach, FL.
Why they chose this property
Nothing is more peaceful than the scenic mountains. The community of people are kind and friendly, slow paced, and happy. It is a wonderful getaway from the daily hectic lifestyle of so many.
What makes this property unique
The location of our cabin and property at the end of a street with nothing on the other side except a mountain makes this property so private and tranquil.
