Enjoy this authentic 1926 log cabin on the shore of the Damariscotta River. With it's beautiful views and unique ambiance, the cabin captures a special part of the Maine experience.
Tastefully furnished in the Adirondack style, the cabin has cathedral ceilings in every room. The stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room.The well equipped kitchen has dining for 6 to 8. The cabin has two bebrooms. The master has a queen size bed. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed.. There is a full bath with a tiled shower. The cabin is heated and air conditioned with a heat pump system.All have a direct view of the water.
The cabin has a covered porch that can be used for dining or just relaxing.There is a spacious stone patio off the porch with a dining table and seating. A gas grill is on the patio also. There are two docks with floats for swimming or launching a kayak. There are deep water moorings for any size boat also available. Bring your own motorboat,sailboat or kayak and explore the river.The property is professionally treated for insects and tick control.
The backyard of the cabin consists of 40 acres of forest with a field and a pond. Hiking, picking flowers or birdwatching are just a stone throw away.
