The entire booking and stay was was seamless. Liked the location a lot and walked to downtown for restaurants, coffee, and the like. Enjoyed the large table as our gathering and planning space. Host was proactive and w prompt responsesEnjoyed our stay, would stay again, and highly recommend.
This was a charming home to stay in! It was clean and comfortable. It worked really well for me and my children with how Joe had the rooms set up upstairs. I would definitely stay here again, thanks Joe!

Thank you Nicole!
I hope to have you and your family stay again :-)
Host Joe contacted me several times before our stay to see if we needed anything else. The house was clean and had everything that we needed and the beds were comfy!. It was only a few blocks from downtown so convenient for shopping and fòod.
The owner was very accommodating and reached out several times during our stat to see if there was anything we needed. The property was clean and close to town.
Had a sisters weekend. Cute house. We did lots of shopping. Lots of cute shops and restaurants near by. All in walking distance. Host checked in just to ensure that there wasnt anything else we needed.
Our family was in the area for a weekend hockey tournament. This house met all of our needs with 2 kids and 5 adults. Good location, cozy, clean and Joey was prompt with the couple requests I had. Will definitely stay again!
The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. Clean and cozy with all the amenities needed. Short distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Host checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Would stay there again!
This property was fabulous for our Mother's Day weekend getaway! Plenty of room for 3 ladies to each have our own space. Because this is an old house the floors/stairs are a little creaky but otherwise no complaints! The woodwork and decorations were beautiful and this house is easy walking distance to all the downtown shops, a brewery, restaurants and the lake! We can't wait to stay here again when in Alex.
The bungalow was comfortable and spacious for our weekend trip to the chain of lakes area. The floors squeak as it is an old house but it didn't bother us and added to the charm of the home.
We were here for our dad’s funeral, so not a happy occasion. However, the house was so clean and comfortable. Joe was very good at communicating with us. We will be back!
This home was so very warm and welcoming. We spent a day of our trip just relaxing and staying in the cozy living room instead of off running around as usual. Josh sent a few messages to check in and ensure there were no problems, which there were none. The only drawback we came up with was the one small shower upstairs being the only one. Great place and host!
I rented this for a weekend for a wedding celebration in Alex. This is a charming older style home. Beautiful old wood work throughout. The owners were communicating with me each day and responded to any questions in a timely fashion. The space was perfect for my family and we felt like we were right at home. We also enjoyed the wine they had chilling in the fridge for us🍷! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We were a group of three old college friends and this place reminded us of our days living together in college. Plenty of room and so cozy. We walked into town for shopping and dining. We forgot there was a rental in the basement, so we were a bit confused and slightly shocked to hear someone coming and going. It is listed in the posting, but it should be mentioned towards the top of the description. The shower was adequate, a bit small and the water pressure was a bit low. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
