Welcome to Cedar Drive! This adorable split-level cottage-style home is located in the heart of downtown Watkinsville, Georgia, and is the perfect rental home for your Georgia game-day weekend, a weekend trip or visiting for the holidays. You can avoid the traffic on gameday weekends and take an Uber or Lyft directly to downtown Athens or Sanford Stadium! With three unique bedrooms and three bathrooms (two full), this house can accommodate families or groups of friends. There are two artistically designed bedrooms upstairs that feature queen-sized beds and adjacent bathrooms. The third bedroom is downstairs near the common areas and features a twin bed, and a half bath.
Both full bathrooms have a tub/shower combo and there are linens and towels available for use.

This rental has two outdoor grills (bring your own gas), a fire pit beautifully positioned under lovely trees draped in outdoor lights and a tranquil creek at the back at the property for those who love to cook and entertain outside. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities guests need to prepare delicious meals. The dining room has a stunning view of back of the property and is perfect for enjoying meals with friends and family.

There is one TV with Roku access for streaming in the living room. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access (AT&T Fiber).

One queen-size air mattress, as well as one twin-size air mattress are available for guests who need extra sleeping accommodations. (Bedsheets provided)

Parking spaces are open in the driveway, and along the one-way street. This house is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown, the all-abilities ESP park, Harris Shoals park, restaurants, and the downtown farmers' market. It is only a five-mile drive from the University of Georgia, making it a perfect location for any event on campus, downtown Athens or Watkinsville.

Great location

Everything was great- there are a lot of stairs for anyone with “mature” guests. Should be a consideration. Lacked proper toaster, corkscrew, and no soap/bodywash for the bathrooms. But overall. A lovely space for guests to stay and co-mingle.

A House That Felt Like Home

This house was small, but just perfect for our visit to the area. It gave us space to rest, with ample bathrooms, and yet we found ourselves around the kitchen table and sofa catching up between events. That made it perfect and we left with our hearts full. I would stay again. Great safe location close to town and minutes away from anything. We saw 4 deer and a natural creek. It was lovely.

Perfect Spot

The home was immaculately cleaned and organized. It is 100 yards from a massive brand new playground. Had a fun backyard for the kids (swings, trampoline). It felt like being in the mountains. We used the coffee maker, dish washer and washing machine - all worked great. No complaints! Would stay there again.

We both originally grew up in South Georgia but have lived in Athens/Athens area for the last 15 years and have loved every minute. We have two children of our own and enjoy hosting family and friends regularly. We have rented out our home for several football seasons. We love being able to provide a safe and relaxing place for guests while we travel to see family and watch the game with them.

We chose this neighborhood because of the closeness to parks, downtown Watkinsville happenings, while still keeping the excitement and game-day vibes that happen in Athens. It's only 13 minutes from UGA campus and even close to amazing shops, restaurants, and more. 1-acre of peace and tranquility amidst numerous activities going on.
