The neighborhood is transitional with several lovely public parks within walking distance. If you have time for a leisurely stroll or simply like to start off your day with a nice run, this is a great spot for you!
Free parking behind the cottage for up to 3 vehicles. Additional curbside parking available in front of cottage. Uber and Lyft are readily available. Schlage Encode lock located at side entrance of property.
2-story cottage featuring 3 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own smart TV. Open floor plan contains a spacious kitchen with all of your basic cooking needs, a living area with large sectional and Apple TV, and a dining table equipped for 6. Our front porch has an outdoor dining space as well as some wicker chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. Side entrance is built to house a fire pit and seat 6-8 individuals comfortable for hangouts on those cooler nights. Washer and dryer available on the first floor.
Uber and Lift are available for anyone not wanting to drive around Athens. Downtown and Sanford Stadium are both less than a mile away should you choose to walk. (We typically do.)

Nice home

The house is lovely and we enjoyed our tome there. It is close to UGA and so our trips to graduation ceremonies were quick and easy.

Perfect Athens Stay

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in Athens. The host’s home is the perfect location to all things Athens. From booking to arrival/departure communication was easy. UGA Midfest visit

This is a great find in Athens. The house is spacious and clean. Our teenage girls loved having enough room to claim their own space. The location is convenient to everything that Athens has to offer.

Mer is an artist, receiving an increasing amount of notoriety in NE Georgia - Check her out at meredithraifordart.com. The mountains are my 2nd love. I spend every free opportunity on the Ocoee River working as a raft guide or paddling for leisure.

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is situated perfectly in The Classic City. Downtown and Sanford Stadium are located less than 1 mile from our home. No matter the event, you are never more than a 15 minute drive from any point in town.

Further, our home is comfortable and clean. We believe you should be exploring Athens during the day. However, once you arrive home, you should be able to kick off your shoes and relax in pure comfort.
