Breakaway Cottage is brimming with charm and is a cyclist's dream! The fully fenced backyard is home to "The Spoke Shack," a converted shed that serves as a bicycle workshop with basic tools, a bike repair stand, and room to securely store up to 4 bikes. Located only 0.6 miles from the heart of downtown Black Mountain, with sidewalks spanning the entire distance, you can bike, walk, or jog with your favorite furry traveler to explore the area.

Favorite yet!

We often go to Black Mountain to visit our daughter and grandchildren and travel with our dog. This little cottage is by far our favorite. Although the square footage of the house is small the addition on the back gave us ample room to entertain family and friends. The layout given to the usage of the house was well thought out. There is a fenced in yard as well as a gate on the front porch to secure wandering children and dogs. The front porch is delightful place to sit and converse or just enjoy the day and a great fire pit in the back. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Definitely would recommend!

Easy Little House

Great little house smack between downtown Black Mountain and Montreat. Easy stay and good communication with rental management company. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable, thoughtful house with a nice little front porch. The back room add on to the house was a nice space, but an unusual room. There were no blinds or window treatments, so you and neighbors could mutually see each other at night and sun reflected on TV during the day. The walls are unfinished wood, so you may get a splinter touching it or it could tear your clothes if you bump into it. If you have a toddler, I couldn’t recommend this house bc of those walls.
