Perfect Stay for Families with Exceptional Hospitality

The hospitality was exceptionally kind, making it perfect for families. The check-in process was easy, and we encountered no safety issues at all, contrary to concerns mentioned in other reviews. Additionally, the property was impeccably clean.

Great Stay

The property was as described. The unit is spacious and comfortable with plenty of supplies. Great location with food, grocery and convenient stores. Parking was very accommodating and the host was very quick to reply & ensured our stay had no trouble! Would def recommend and stay again.

Cute apartment so close to the stadium!!

This is a cute, roomy apartment close to the Big House, Crisler Arena and all of Ann Arbor. Very clean and well equiped. Tucked back behind a couple of office buildings so quiet at night. Parking is available. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location for Umich visit

Clean and comfortable apartment. We had a fun long weekend visiting family in AA. So much better than a hotel, as our family of five was able to spend nice time together both at the VRBO as well as at the nearby campus, parks, restaurants and stores.

Great location to hang out

Great place, huge bathroom, nice beds, open living area, only negatives would be you can hear the people staying above you moving around and would have liked a few more kitchen utensils. However, those are minor and I would happily stay there again.

Located in an odd area. an old office buildings. Remodeled to apartments. nice to have options around the town. Mary restaurants near by. Convenient for our event. Easy to get to and from. Plenty of beds. Kitchen could use more supplies for meals for a longer stay.

Ann Arbor Christmas

This was our first stay in this condo and it was a good location and setup for our small group. I would have 1 suggestion that "black out" shades be installed for the bedrooms as there is alot of outdoor lighting. Other than that, worked well for us.

Not very scenic but very efficient.

It needs a few repairs. Hopefully they take down and replace the awful window blinds and fix the faucet in the bathroom. The location is close to Hwy 23 freeway that takes you to Detroit so very convenient. The unit is in the middle of a strip mall area. It is not very scenic but efficient.

Good stay for the value

I was visiting for my son's graduation from University of Michigan and was looking for accommodations 6 months prior. Most of AA was booked solid and the hotel rooms or vacation rentals were exorbitantly expensive. I found this spot and was pleased with the price, so booked it. The apartment is a little dated, but clean and comfortable. It's in a weird location, tucked behind office buildings in a commercial area. The location was close to restaurants, a Whole Foods and just a couple miles from campus. The host was responsive they only time I reached out. All in all, I'd reccommend.

A convenient location. I wouldn't call it luxury. If you like to cook and stay in vs out for meals just know there is no cutting board and one knife. Also, the electric stove coils don't fit down into the drip pans easily. There was only one roll of toilet paper in which we needed to purchase our own. We had a debacle with he water heater in where we had hot water for one night of our stay. Host was responsive in getting it fixed. We asked for a 50% refund and between VRBO and the host we received a 35% refund. Overall wouldn't recommend a friend or family to stay here.

Hidden Gem!

Slightly off the beaten path, this condo was a great fit for our family!! The condo is located within a short (less than 10 minutes) drive to U of M, the children's hospital, shopping, parks, and lots of great eateries. The condo was stocked with Kuerig pods, tea, towels, paper towels, and tons of bathroom toiletries. If you have more than 4 guests, I recommend telling the host prior to arrival as we didn't have enough dinnerware to serve the 5 of us. We had good communication with the host during our stay as they were quick to respond. However, I did not receive the arrival email until 18 hours before arrival. We also had to ask for the wifi password as it was not included in the arrival email or printed on-site. Still, I would say overall communication was very good. We would love to stay again!

Location was great for us as we were here for spring football game. The condo was in an odd location, but parking was easy. The shower was nice and big, good for someone in a wheelchair. The downsides was bedding that was not fresh looking. You can immediately tell that at some point this condo was completely lived in, due to cracks in the floor and the cabinets. It may have been cleaned but didn't really have a clean manicured look to it such as bedding was not nice and neat, the complimentary bathroom items were mismatch. It appeared to just be stuff left behind from other guest.Be aware there is only one tv at this property. Overall it wasn't bad for the price, it was just a little underwhelming from what I am use to. The

Disgusting Unit

When we arrived at the property we walked in and were immediately smacked in the face with the overpowering smell of air fresheners. When we walked into the bathroom it became apparent the air fresheners were intended to cover up the stench of cat urine. My son was playing with a ball that rolled under one of the beds and when he looked underneath to get it back out he said it was gross and full of hair. The water in the toilet was Cookie Monster blue and whoever dumped the blue cleaner in the toilet also let some splash up on the seat and left it that way. The blinds in the main living area were broken and 2 slats were leaned up against the wall. The building the unit was in looked like a run down office building, not a proper residential location, and didn’t feel safe. After spending hours in the parking lot on the phone with VRBO and the owner, with no genuine concern for the health and safety of my family having been expressed by either of them, my family gave up and went to stay at a nearby hotel. The experience was so bad that it makes me want to never book another property through VRBO again. In my opinion, VRBO’s book with confidence guaranty is worthless.

A very basic place, no charm or character in a weird area. Sheets were super thin, kitchen not well stocked, barely adequate. Area was not nice… almost industrial area. It was just not a pleasant place to hang out.

We really enjoyed staying here. The property was clean and fit our needs perfectly. Loved the open floor plan for interacting with our family while eating and relaxing in the living room. The host was very communicative and answered our questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again when our travels bring us back to Ann Arbor. Highly recommend.
