Nice, quiet property- good for a fun getaway. Had fun fishing off the dock, though we didn’t catch anything big enough to keep. Had everything we needed, and communication was good.

Great week up North!

Wonderful place on a cozy lake! Love the proximity to the water. The kids loved the little beach and the fish beds to watch. We will definitely be back!

The overall property was great.The beds could use new mattresses. The property is located on a busy highway so taking a quiet walk nearby is not really an option.We did swim at a county park nearby that you is clear and shallow pretty far out. The restaurants nearby are great.I would book this property again.

Great Stay

Second stay at this property. Was here both times with my adult sons fishing and catching up, relaxing. The lake is not super large but fishing from the canoe and dock provided excellent opportunities. Evenings spent around the camp fire were great. Wildlife like Loons, Canadian Geese with young, Fox, Deer were an added bonus. One of the neighbors even had some RC floatplanes that were quite entertaining.

Peaceful Week on the Lake

We had a great time. Evenings were chilly but outdoor fire pit was relaxing and warm. Fishing was great, We only needed to keep one fish per day to eat. In a week we caught about 100 fish from Bass, Bluegill, Sunfish, Perch, Bullhead, Northern, and Crappie. Woke up to deer most mornings. Cabin was well stocked and clean.

AI at its best.

The positive-everything was nice and clean and the backyard and frontage was great. The grandkids visited and they had a lot of fun once you got past all the weeds in the lake.The negative-clearly all the messages we received were computer generated. I say this because I replied to a message from Wild Rivers Property and got no response. Then when we decided to leave a day early because we could no longer tolerate the cheap uncomfortable mattresses I texted the person we were suppose to reach out to with any questions or concerns and again no answer. But we got our generated message the next morning about check out time. We were given 1 dishcloth and 2 dish towels for 5 days. Yuck! Also, not enough toilet paper in the place for 5 days. We spent alot of money to stay here and we will not be returning to this property.

Owners Ruth and Gary love sitting on the deck and watching the loons and turtles play and the fish jump. They also love going for a swim or kayaking and canoeing through the no-wake waters of Lake Mable. They bought this cabin with the intention of making their own Northwoods memories, but want others to enjoy it when they can't. They know you'll love the cabin as much as they do!

Why they chose this property

The open floor plan is great for families who like to play board games. If your crew likes to fish, you'll have a blast catching panfish and bass right from the dock! The great thing about the lake property is you have the peacefulness of a no-wake lake but you are only a stone's throw away from Lake Alice; a full rec lake. Golfing, ATV trails, bike trails, and Tomahawk are only a few miles away. We know that you will love this place as much as we do.
