Wonder place - not for limited mobility

The ONLY downside of this house is the parking and entrance. There is no parking behind the house. You must park in the front and either walk up the dirt path or the rocks (super fun for kids!). That said, you've been warned. The rest was FANTASTIC! This house was AMAZING! Wonderful location and views of Long's Peak from the porch. Close to stores and town without having to go through the Estes melee of downtown. Convenient access to the Fall River entrance of RMNP without waiting in the Bear Lake backup at Beaver Meadows. We had deer and fawns, momma elk and calves came to spend the day, and male elk, with their growing antlers, calling to each other through the neighborhood. Bald Eagles, hawks and herons flying over from the lake. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The island is enormous. Plenty of room to spread out downstairs. Alissa was a gracious hostess and was always available to answer our questions. Wonderful place!
