This cabin was wonderful! It is close to town, it far enough away you really feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect set up for a large family with plenty of space. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the late afternoons. We would definitely stay here again!
The house was clean. It has plenty of towels and paper products. The master bedroom in the back of the house was very nice. It was relatively quiet from the rest of the house. We would definitely book it again
Older property than expected but was still a beautiful and quiet location. Ceiling fans need cleaned. Master bathroom toilet did not flush right all the time. Overall we had plenty of room and view was best thing about our stay. We enjoyed ourselves.

Hi Pam, thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC and we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your time with us. We have forwarded your feedback to the local staff so they can work to improve the house for future guests, and we hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you!
Place was bigger than it seemed on the photos; with six of us, we never felt cramped. We had some issues with the grill, and it was taken care of insanely fast by maintenance. Lots of blankets, kitchen items, and boardgames. Checking in and checking out was seamless. Location is amazing- 10 minutes from where everything was. Breathtaking view of the mountains. It was such a nice getaway spot. We would have stayed more nights if we could.

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
Our family of six spent Christmas here. We liked the set up of the house although one of the bathrooms is rather odd. The sink has a separate faucet for hot and cold. I recall my grandparents having such a set up, and I'm sure when indoor plumbing was first a thing that was great, but it really isn't anymore. The beds were fine but the pillows were not. The house could use a deep cleaning but overall the cleanliness was fine. The location was perfect for getting into town and going to the National Park. There was no salt for the icy steps which would have been welcomed. The kitchen had everything we needed but be sure to bring your own spices. We enjoyed out stay.

Thank you for staying with us!
The proximity of this property to town was great. About 7 minutes from town and 1 hour from skiing at Eldora. The property was clean and well stocked with plenty of kitchen ware, linens and beds for our group. The property is pretty dated and could definitely use some updating. No central heat; all radiant heat but the temperatures and the thermostats are very difficult to dial in. It’s either very cold or too warm. Doesn’t seem to be any middle ground. Beds are VERY worn and everyone in our party had sore backs when we woke up each day. All pillows are flat and need to be replaced. Recommend bringing your own pillows. Overall, we enjoyed the location but would probably look for an alternate property for our next visit.

Lodge Haus
We have been renting cabins in Estes Park for 15 years while I exhibited my work at the Memorial Day and Labor Day art shows in Bond Park. The Lodge Haus was spacious and suitable for us and visiting family from western Colorado. It was well appointed and there was everything needed to feed the crew. There were some issues with this older rental. A guest plugged in a bedroom lamp and the wires caught fire and kicked off the circuit breaker. He was not burned but his hand was covered with soot from the burning wire covering. This incident was reported to Estes Park Code Violation for safety in rentals. The living room TV had four remotes and no instructions or manual to correct “no signal”. I found a dangling USB cable behind the TV and plugged it into the only USB receptacle I could find and that worked. The unit is advertised as having a hot tub and pool, but it is only available seasonally and at the discretion of the HOA. They don’t tell you this until you have paid. I didn’t notice it, but others noticed the bad odor when they arrived which was mentioned in another review. We determined it was from an unclean garbage disposal. The Lodge Haus was ok, but remote management doesn’t do as good a job as the locals from our experience.

We selected because this house has 4 bedrooms (hard to find in Estes Park) and was all on one level. Beware it's on a slope and there are steps to get up to the entrance. It's an older home, but well-decorated with comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. Main complaint was the push-button lock. It needs to be replaced!! It usually took us several tries to open and also to get it to lock successfully. Occasionally, we would hear it trying to lock on its own when no one was near it. Also, sometimes there was a foul odor in the bedroom with the kitchenette.
Great location. The view from the deck is breathtaking. We were 5 adult women hikers traveling from NY. The room with 2 twins is a bit tight for 2 adults. The 2 master bedrooms are huge.
I am rating 4 stars because, if you like to cook, there are challenges to overcome, the two biggest being the grill and the oven.
I am an accomplished home cook. I tried to grill a steak, and there was a grease fire because the grill wasn’t clean. The grill works fine, but the cleaning people need to clean it in between renters. After one night of charred steak - I had to throw water onto the flame to save my dinner- I decided to instead use the oven.
The oven needs to be replaced. It took 30 minutes to broil a pork loin that should have taken 10. Frustrating. The stove top worked fine. The stove also doesn’t fit into its allotted space very well making it difficult to open a drawer full of utensils.
If you rent this house, read the directions the management company emails to you. Don’t rely only on your gps. The house is located in an HOA with townhomes and it’s not easily apparent where to go. We drove past the house multiple times - at midnight when we arrived- before I realized that I had directions in my email. Don’t be me.
Our family had a great time staying in this awesome cabin. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and had a variety of activities which included hiking in the National park, horseback riding, fishing, a jeep trip, swimming and even some shopping in Estes Park. Such a special time with our family. The mountain cabin was awesome!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge Haus. The lodge was perfect for our family and had everything we could ever need for our stay there. The layout of the lodge was so accommodating to our family … it had a master suite that included a wet bar area, fireplace, couch, king size bed and bath;; it had another master room with king and full bath, and then two additional rooms with plent of space to sleep and another dedicated full bath. The kitchen amenities, washroom and checker table with games was a hit. And, to top it off the breathtaking mountain views from the living room and house were unbelievable. There wasn’t a better place to be to take it all in! Thank you for the wonderful place to stay!
We visit Estes at least once every year with our family. This was our first time at this home. We were thankful for a space for all eight of us. The house was clean, the views were nice, and we had privacy. The kitchen was a bit disorganized and needed dish towels and pot holders. We did not hear from the local host until it was time for us us to leave. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house for families. We just thought the hospitality piece was lacking a bit from other vacation homes where we’ve stayed.
