Rayanns Family-friendly Away From It All! (Ann)

The astronauts looking down from space identified the Exumas in the Bahamas as having the most exquisite waters (a million shade of blue, aquamarine, greens, clear white) in the universe!

Rayann's Beach House @ Three Sisters' Rocks, located 5 minutes drive from the airport, and 15 minutes from George Town, the main town of Great Exuma Island, is a 2-story town house that has two x 2 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms apartments. For each unit, the upper level houses 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a private balcony. The master bedroom has a panoramic view of the sea. Downstairs is the kitchen area, a half bathroom, and an open area with a dining and a lounge area. A double French door leads to a private verandah with a breathtaking view of the ocean. There are ceiling fans in every room and central airconditioning for when the island breezes are not cool enough.
The Sandals Resort (formerly Four seasons)Greg Norman Golf Course and Marina can be reached in 8 minutes by car. Grocery stores, a health facility, and banks are found in George Town. Local restaurants and other places of interest can be found in the information booklet provided at the beach house.
Swimming with the pigs/feeding the sharks is a must do boat tour to the Exuma Cays!

The location is fantastic and the home is super clean. You will need a car and the owner can recommend a private rental. Kitchen is well equipped and recommend you bring in as much food as possible. Freeze your meats and grill baby grill!!!!

Amazing Host in Paradise

Our hosts were warm and friendly, the house is perfectly provisioned with beach chairs and towels and even some snorkeling gear. They were so warm and accommodating— we had to shift our dates because of flight delay, and they were willing to shift the stay. Highly recommend this place- it is right on a super quiet beach!

You really feel like you have your own private beach at Rayanns! Check in was a breeze and the home was very clean. We were left homemade fresh coconut bread which was delicious. You will definitely want to rent a car for this location. We did not and wished we had. Mildred was kind enough to take us to the liquor store and convenient store upon arrival when she saw we didn’t have a car. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Lovely home located near airport and popular hot spots. Beautiful views and a great place to just relax and unwind. Mildred and Isadora are wonderful and attentive hostesses.

Great place to stay on a beautiful beach

Wonderful property at an affordable price. This is almost a private beach. If you see more than 4-5 people walk past on the beach in a day that is a lot. Very friendly and safe island. This is the 3rd time we had visited Exuma.

Amazing Island Amazing People

From the start of arriving to the end of our 5 day trip was sensational. Every person we met was kind and eager to meet you. Mildred was amazing and we thank you for the homemade bread. Delicious. We absolutely would stay there again. Cant wait to come back.

Beautiful location!

The property is well maintained and clean. The view and the beach are amazing. It’s about 15-20 min to Georgetown, so you’ll really want a car. It has a nice kitchen and it’s a quiet area. The ladies were great with giving recommendations and helpful with check-in. Hope we can come again!

We had a Great trip! The weather was supposed to be rain every day and we were fortunate that it didn’t rain until the last day when we were leaving. The website did this house justice. It was exactly as it was advertised and the water was Amazing!!! Exactly as pictured. Mildred was very helpful and communicated with me very well and timely.

Love the Sisters Seascape

Great location! Right on the beach. Doesn’t get any better than this. Sunrises are amazing. Swimming & snorkeling right in front of you. Super clean. Thank you Mildred for the goodies. The sweetest little spot

We cannot say enough good things about this property. It was immaculate, well-stocked, airy, well-maintained, with phenomenal views and right on the beach. As this was our first trip to Exuma we also really appreciated being in a central part of the island so we could explore. Three Sisters beach was gorgeous and remarkably private. We had a couple windy days that made swimming a no-go, but the beach is so gorgeous we didn’t really care. The absolute best part was the kindness and generosity of our hosts, Mildred and Isadora. We loved our stay and hope to be back again sometime soon!

Excellent Stay

We had a great week at Rayann’s beach house. Mildred was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including loaf of fresh bread and some drinks in the fridge. House is spotless and very well equipped. The best part is location. Close to great restaurant that you can order delicious food over the phone and pick up on the way home after all day on the beach. Make sure you wake up for sunrise. View from the house is unbelievable. We can not wait to come back. Mildred, thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

What an amazing place !!!

Rayann place was truly amazing!!! The pictures are no where near as close to how beautiful this home and location are .It is very spacious and you’ll be amazed with the views the minute you walk in. The house is immaculately clean as were all the linens and towels. Our 3 younger children had a blast at rayanns house. They where equipped with a few toys for the beach , kayaks and paddle boards . The fact that we walked out the back door and had what seemed to be our own private beach with calm waters in which my husband and I could sit on the deck and watch them having a blast was a blessing . The home is equipped with 2 zone air conditioning and makes for a very comfortable stay . Mildred the host is a native to this paradise and went above and beyond her call of duty on our stay , her hospitality was A+. Can’t wait to go back .

Best Honeymoon Spot!

We stayed for 6 nights for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The views are breathtaking! We did not see anyone on the beach the whole time we were there, so very secluded, away from it all! We were also left a few groceries to get us started, including local bread/fruit and some honeymoon goodies - a chocolate/fruit plate, cheese/cracker plate, and wine! The neighbors in the next unit were a bit loud sometimes which took away from the "secluded" aspect but we were rarely home at the same time. I believe if we went back we would bring enough people to just rent the whole place. The only thing I would recommend to make the place better is a mattress topper of some sort. The bed was quite hard on our backs and we would wake up a bit sore, but we may just be spoiled from our memory foam mattress LOL. We are definitely planning to come back for anniversary trips!

Absolutely Perfect!

I have never stayed at a cleaner VRBO than this perfect little spot!! I loved the bright beachy furnishings with lots of natural light. Mildred was wonderful with the check in process. She knows everything about the island and can answer any questions you may have. She left us a delicious loaf of coconut bread that we made toast out of every morning. This was our fourth visit to Exuma but our first time staying at this property. It's a great location on the island to access everything and is close to the airport. The beach is beautiful white, soft sand. There were beach chairs, fins and snorkels and a cooler. We sat under the covered patio every evening and star gazed with a soft, warm breeze blowing. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to make simple meals and snacks. There were plenty of beach towels and bath towels as well. Both upstairs rooms are cozy and comfortable. The washer and dryer are a great bonus to cut down on the amount of packing. I won't hesitate to book this property again. Thank you Mildred for making our stay amazing!!

Just as advertised!

The best part about this house is the location. We rented a car and so wanted to make sure we saw the island. North or south out of the driveway and you can get to either end of the island about the same because house is in the middle. Second best thing is walking right out onto your private beach and swimming everyday, didn't have to load up in the car to find a beautiful beach. Third best thing is the view, could not get enough of it, gorgeous. And of course dealing with Mildred and Isadora is a breeze and the welcome to the house with fresh bread and a few cold beverages will be the nicest you are received on the island. Not all Bahamians are as nice and welcoming as these ladies. And research tipping and taxes on the island to be more prepared when you do venture out. But I would recommend going to the butcher shop and buying items to stay in and enjoy the most wonderful location on the island. That's what we ended up doing and it was fabulous. My husband had to work while we were on vacation and the wi-fi is excellent.

A Slice of Heaven!

Our stay at the truly beautiful RayAnn’s Beach House made for an amazing trip to Exuma! Our wonderful and gracious host, Mildred, was an absolutely precious host and attended to our every need throughout the entire process, from passport issues to answering to all of our questions and needs! We could not have had a more perfect host that truly wants you to have the absolute best stay! This house has everything you need, a perfect central location, on the beach, in a quiet private, relaxing, get away location but only minutes to the best local spots to eat, or the Grand Isle for fine dining, and also near to some other local gorgeous beaches to explore! Don’t miss Jolly Hall Beach and CocoPlum Beach, instructions in the house manual on how to get there, to these truly stunning beaches! CocoPlum Bistro was also one of our favorite spots to eat! Snorkeling is great at Jolly Hall near the rocks at the end of the beach. Don’t miss exploring George Town, the Straw Market there and take the water taxi to Chat n Chill! We could have stayed at RayAnn’s much longer as it was truly a slice of heaven, had everything we needed and the gorgeous setting on Three Sisters Beach, but ultimately due to our precious host Mildred! Thanks for a glorious stay and attending to our every need and request! Blessings and hope to be back one day!

Paradise - Best Vacation Ever Taken

I have traveled many places in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, but NOTHING compares to Exuma. The landscape, the water, the people, the food, it was all absolutely amazing. Rayanns was NO exception. The house was spotless, there was beer & water in the fridge and fresh bread and bananas on the counter, a packet of information on the table and a beach right out the back door. The snorkeling was THE BEST right in our backyard. The first day we drove to Hoopers Bay to snorkel and didn't see anything. We came home a little discouraged and decided we would go snorkeling again out by the 3 Sisters Rocks. UNBELIEVABLE!!! There were so many different reefs, colorful fish, we saw sea turtles and sea urchins! We snorkeled every single day we were there. I love this place because it is not tourist-y. It is not commercialized at all. There are no Subways or McDonalds on every street corner. The people are so friendly, I never was worried being out past dark hanging out in the local bars. The fish fry was so much fun - fresh lobster, steak, conch - so delicious!! We will definitely be coming back. I cannot say enough good things about Rayanns and Exuma.

Breathtakingly Beautiful

My daughter and I just returned from spending one week at this wonderful property. Upon our arrival, Mildred and Isadora (sister owners), were waiting to greet us with big smiles and warm hugs. The vacation home is absolutely stunning with the most beautiful view of turquoise blue waters and a powder white sand beach that surrounds the home. The master bedroom is on the second level and couldn't be any closer to the water. Waking up each morning to the beauty of Exuma was the best start to each day. Imagine waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise greeting you the moment you open your eyes - the sunsets were just as breathtaking. It truly is like stepping into paradise. There are no crowded beaches, no intrusions of noisy vacationers - just peacefulness and serenity. The beach right in front of the house is virtually deserted. For the most part, you will feel like this is your very own private beach. We enjoyed all that the island has to offer including swimming with the pigs, visiting Staniel Cay and walking on sandbars that could be right out of a fantasy. So many times throughout our stay we just really couldn't grasp the beauty of what we were experiencing. We did rent a car for the week and would recommend this as it is about a 15 minute drive into town, but it is also helpful to get you around the island should you want to explore. We visited Little Exuma and the famous Santanna's beachfront grill (Johnny Depp and the rest of the cast and crew spent a lot of time here during filming of 'Pirates'). Overall we had a fantastic stay at Rayann's and enjoyed every moment. Isadora and Mildred take great care in looking after the property and it truly shows from the moment you enter this beautiful beachfront home. Thank you Isadora and Mildred for a wonderful stay at Rayann's. We miss Exuma already and can't wait to return!

This was our forth time in Exuma, staying at Rayann’s and it was just as perfect as the others. Mildred and Isadora always go above and beyond for their guests. This home definitely feels like “a home away from home” for us and we look forward to our next trip!
