Exuma, a charming family island, might not fit the bill if Ibiza or Palm Beach is what you're after. It's a sleepy island with its share of quirks: imperfect roads, improving but still developing infrastructure, occasional power outages, low water pressure, and slow internet all common island issues. Alongside the roads, you'll spot unfinished construction jobs, encounter no-see-ums, mosquitoes, geckos, and ghost ants occasionally finding their way into buildings. Service can be slow in some places.

Yet, Exuma isn't the typical 5-star resort island where everything is meticulously catered to. Here, people are genuine, kind, and truly helpful, though they might take their time. Crime is remarkably low, setting it apart from many other Caribbean islands. Exuma embodies traditional values, almost like a step back 70 years in time unspoiled, stunning, and often serene outside of George Town.

We're intimately familiar with Exuma, having visited numerous times since 2007, fostering lasting relationships with locals. Two additional bedrooms cater to various needs a room with a king-size bed for added comfort and another room featuring bunk beds and a double bed, perfect for families or larger groups.

To ensure your comfort and safety, we've installed new hurricane-proof windows and doors in 2023, allowing you to relax without worry. Each room is equipped with ceiling fans, keeping the space cool and airy throughout your stay. The two full baths feature modern cabinetry, providing convenience and functionality.

Entertainment and relaxation blend seamlessly in our living area. Sink into our California-style lounging couch, spacious enough for seven people, adorned with 14 giant cushions for an indulgent experience. Dimmable lights set the perfect ambiance, whether you're unwinding after a day of exploring or preparing for a night of fun. A 50-inch smart flat-screen TV awaits, offering entertainment options for every taste.
