Enjoy a little bit of “almost heaven” in a converted school bus near the New River Gorge National Park! You can unplug as much as you like with nature and wildlife- enjoying an outdoor fire under the stars or lounging in the outdoor living area. There are trails to explore on the property and tons of exploration in the New River Gorge Park and local State Parks in the area. Pipe Stem state park is about a 30 min drive and had plenty of fun activities, from disc golf, lake splash park, zip line tours, fishing etc… Or you can retreat inside the bus to climate controlled air, WiFi, t.v., and cuddle up with a good read by the mini wood burning stove! If you need more accommodations there are two busses and other properties near by- just inquire.

An amazing stay, very good description on how to get there and pure enjoyment from the first moment we arrived. As soon as the sun sets deer come out in the Meadow which you can see from your bed. Just like good old time camping. We loved our stay!
Perfect time away with family! A great unique little spot that had all the comforts of home. I couldn’t believe how well the space was sectioned off - and even a large fridge and a 5 burner stove! We enjoyed sitting outside under the pergola for our meals. A wonderful get away! My kids loved playing “bus driver” to let us in and out of the vehicle. Great experience all around.
We surprised our kids (10 and 12) on a road trip with this stop and the look on their faces as we pulled up was worth every penny out there. While we only stayed one night, we made the most of it, playing games on the outside table, cooking dinner and eating as a group of deer made their way into the field near us, and completed the night with smores. An experience we will never forget!
Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant!
