Kick back and relax at our sweet, petite bungalow, set way back in a spacious field and backed by a sparkling pond and ancient Forest. The property is a short drive from Lebanon, Dartmouth College in Hanover, and Woodstock, VT. Several ski mountains (Suicide Six, Mount Sunapee, Dartmouth Skiway, Killington, Ragged Mountain) are all less than 26 miles from the property. A perfect place to enjoy the beautiful, New England scenery while listening to the wind blow through trees and tall grasses.
*IMPORTANT: Guests with mobility or balance issues are cautioned against using our property because the stairs/steps to the upstairs loft/bedroom area are VERY STEEP.

I’m not sure this location should be rented out during peak winter months. Location lacks sufficient heater, must bring wood and axe and kindling. None of which was mentioned before I arrived. A hot tub was advertised in the listing. There is no hot tub on location.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your feedback. As I pointed out to you, this was our first time renting this property through VRBO, and the mistaken hot tub in the listing was an unfortunate error in the initial listing, which was immediately corrected, along with a fair refund for our error. Regarding the heat, we have never had any issues with guests expressing it is too cold. We rented the previous winter through a competing vacation rental site without complaints. Our cleaners have spent hours there during the cold weather months and they have told me the heater is more than adequate. We also supply several extra blankets. I refunded you one night's stay and you never gave me further feedback after I asked you several questions about the heater to try to diagnose the problem. Perhaps you weren't able to understand the controls? I would invite readers to find us on the other vacation rental site and see our performance reviews for a more accurate reflection of our Superhost status. I am very sorry that we did not meet your expectations. Happy Travels, Jamie
