Val, the host, and the place was great! I loved the space, the charm, the BEYOND easy of access to so many things the Portland city area has to offer! Literally everything (grocery, park, gas, entertainment, restaurants, bars, etc) was within a 5-20 minute walk. My car saved mad gas money. Super thankful this place was accepting of animals!! My dog did pretty well here and met some friends in the building during our stay (:You are in the city so a little noise will constantly be a backdrop. Don’t rent if you are easily irritated by things out of your control and/or are sensitive to noises. Now onto the next door Alarm Neighbor. They would leave their alarm on for anywhere from 20minutes to over an hour. This is not the alarm that restarts, after a minute of going off, every ten minutes.Heavy sleeper or not, this daily before I wake up experience is the reason the pad got a 4/5 stars. FYI The Alarm Neighbor may invite you to his yoga studio. I personally did not want to build a rapport with someone who was intentionally being a nuisance.
