Take it easy at this unique and peaceful getaway. This is a private one bedroom side apartment on our home with secure keypad entry.
Cozy yet comfortable, off the beaten path but not far from anything in the Keweenaw, you'll enjoy your stay at this renovated former antique store apartment in the sleepy village of Ahmeek. 35 minutes to Copper Harbor, 30 minutes to Mount Bohemia, 10 minutes to Historic Calumet.
Back country skiing and easy biking trails behind the village, ask your host! Make it an evening routine to drive minutes to the Gratiot river preserve to catch the beautiful lake Superior sunsets.
EV charging station at the ice cream shop two blocks away.

We had a great stay at Sweet One Bedroom. Our hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfrotable, and the decor was amazing! The location was really convenient-right in the middle of the Keweenaw Penninsula. Many restaurants were close by and it was a short trip to Eagle Harbor, Copper Harbor, and Houghton. We would definitely stay there again!!

Exactly as described. Clean unit. The town itself doesn’t have much but a few restaurants were within 5 miles. Unit does not have heat/ac except ac window unit in bedroom and heat seems to come from owner section of house. It was not a big issue for us at this time of year. Host was responsive.

This is a very nice apartment! Plenty of room for hubby and me. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom was well stocked . Backyard is very private and so pretty. Easy parking right in front, you do have a few steps into entrance. Best part of stay is how close it is to Copper and Eagle Harbor, and the whole shore line around the top half of the Kewanee.there was more than ample restaurants close and also with 10 to 15 minutes drive.Our Host werte very nice people who know alot about the area!

This is the second time I have stayed here. The place is clean, well organized and decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen, internet and air conditioning in the bedroom if it gets really warm. It is located pretty much centrally on the Keweenaw, so no matter where you are going in Copper Country, this is a good spot.

The home was just as described in the listing. It was clean, organized, and cozy. The owner was friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and helped me check-in easily. The town of Ahmeek is friendly and it was the perfect location for sightseeing and, in my case, visiting friends and relatives. I highly recommend this home. I would definitely stay again when I am in the area. It is perfect for one or two people.

We had a wonderful week at this property. It was the perfect size for 2 people and super clean. Bed was comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The location is perfect, off US41 by 2 blocks so it’s quiet but only 20-25 min to Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor, or Houghton. Host was responsive in all ways and friendly in person. We travel to Houghton area a lot. So far this has to be the best place. Super cute. Well well thought out with shampoo, coffee, snacks etc. There was a ton of snow and it was well taken care of. Parking was perfect with our truck with plenty of space. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Quaint little area. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a safe comfortable stay!

This is a very quiet village, slowly getting back on it's footing after the closing of the local copper mines decades ago. Enjoy a peaceful stroll around the empty streets in the evenings, or on the trails behind the village.
