Equipped with 1000 thread count pure Egyptian cotton bed sheets and a luxurious down comforter so that every night gives you a deeply restorative sleep. Your commute is quick with Seattle Children's Hospital 0.8 mi away and the UW Medical Center at 1.8 mi. You'll enjoy the easy walk through the leafy streets to two excellent supermarkets (Metropolitan Market, 0.4 mi and PCC, 0.3 mi) and the boutiques and restaurants at the University Village. We are two blocks from bus stops, 1.5 mi from the Roosevelt light rail station, and a 15 min drive to downtown Seattle. EV charging is available at the property by arrangement. I am a professor at the University of Washington, and my wife, Gillian, is a high school orchestra teacher in Edmonds. We've lived in Seattle for about 15 years, moving here from Australia after spending time in Southeast Asia. While we miss our family and try to visit as often as we can, we love our Seattle neighborhood and treasure our friendly neighbors and peaceful streets and alleys. We enjoy walking to the nearby stores and cafes, and to the University Village shopping center, as well as adventuring further afield hiking trails in the Cascade Mountains.

What makes this property unique

Our rental property is adjacent to our current home, on the other side of the back garden. We have designed and built the rental to live in ourselves in the future, so we have been quite attentive to many high end details. We hope you enjoy it, and we look forward to having you as our neighbor!
