You will love the location in the heart of Tucson's West University neighborhood, it offers a unique experience in the Old Pueblo. You will be just a few blocks from the UofA campus and Historic 4th Avenue. Its a quick trip to downtown night-life on the free street car, with a stop half a block away.
Being steps away from Historic 4th Ave, the University of Arizona & countless local attractions, it's the perfect place to relax & unwind in the real Tucson.
Sapo Encantador (the Charming Toad) is a time capsule spanning 100 years of Tucson's history. The comfortable, livable interiors feature custom furniture, a quirky collection of original art along with iconic mid-century design, all set within this 100 year old territorial arts-and-crafts style property. A heated pool & spa are nestled in an enclosed back garden for extra privacy.
The house was recently updated for today's lifestyle while honoring its original, unique character. Improvements include all new plumbing with endless on-demand hot water, desert friendly low-flow bath fixtures, a new kitchen with energy conserving appliances, all new finishes throughout, high speed internet, and many other improvements.

perfect house in a great location

This was just a perfect stay in Tucson. I was in town for a conference at the University and it was a short walk there and to lots of restaurants and entertainment. The house is just great. Nice big front porch and well decorated inside. Our host was attentive and very helpful. I definitely recommend this house to anyone coming into Tucson for work or fun.

What makes this property unique

If you want to be at the center of everything thats happening in Tucson, this is really the place for you. We're located in the center of West University, between the UofA campus and historic 4th Avenue. Once you arrive you might not even use your car. It's an easy stroll to dozens of amazing restaurants, coffee places, bars and unique shops of 4th Ave and UofA Main Gate Plaza. We're located on the SunLink streetcar line with a stop within half a block. The streetcar is free & a quick ride brings you to downtown & the Mercado district with even more gastronomic & entertainment options. You'll also find a bike share station across the street. Electric Scooter rentals are another great way to get around. Options.
Along with the main house which you will be staying in, there is a small guest house at the rear of the property. The guest house is completely separate from the main house & pool area. It has its own yard, parking, entrance etc, so you have exclusive use of the main house & pool area during your stay.
