Log & Leaf is a charming 3-bedroom cabin, nestled in the trees and perfectly located exactly equidistant from both Blue Ridge and Ellijay! So you’re only ever 10 minutes away in either direction from the region’s wonderful orchards and wineries, farm-to-table restaurants, and unique shopping and activities. And further afield, adventure awaits! The quaint village of Cherry Log is also surrounded by the North Georgia natural beauty of the Aska Adventure Area and Lake Blue Ridge!

Take an easy drive up to Lake Allen in Cherry Log and there you will find Log & Leaf! Walk on to the main deck, with its cozy spots for lounging and morning coffee, and then enter into a chic new professionally decorated, and reimagined cabin! The open living area is the place to gather your group around the fire after a day of adventure, and the brand-new kitchen is calling out to all chefs to break it in and make some delicious meals. There’s a wonderful dining area inside and also an al fresco picnic table and a new gas grill out on the deck, so there are plenty of places to make some special memories!

The two delightful bedrooms on the main floor share a newly renovated full bath, and upstairs the Loft suite, open to the floor below, overlooks the treetops and enjoys a cozy desk area and its own brand-new full bath.

Head out to the deck and down the stairs to discover the “Lounge” deck. It has a cute, and convenient, kitchenette, a spacious sectional, an additional dining table perfect for meals and board games, and even a sunken hot tub! Of course, all these activities can be enjoyed with an amazing Blue Ridge Mountain view!

For chilly mornings and starry nights, the Firepit is just steps down the hill, so grab an Adirondack, light a fire, and settle in to enjoy the Log & Leaf experience!

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor area.

Other things to note

After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.

Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $3,000. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit.

There's no shortage of activities in this wonderful area. Ellijay and Blue Ridge are both incredible small towns with antique shops, taverns, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and more. There’s truly something for everyone in these beautiful mountain communities. Tour the award-winning vineyards (Engelheim, Ellijay River, Cartecay, Serenberry) or all the surrounding breweries and orchards like Mercier Apple Orchard. Visit Fall Branch Falls or bask on the water with plenty of tubing, fishing, or boating. Maybe cross that water over the famous Toccoa Swinging Bridge! Conquer the mountains on breathtaking hiking and mountain biking trails. Seasonally, enjoy the Blue Ridge Railway, local festivals, and other activities. And just a note, you can’t take a trip to Cherry Log without dropping by The Pink Pig - our favorite spot for BBQ – or the Bigfoot Experience – both just down the road!

PARKING

The roads to Log & Leaf are paved, but can be curvy and narrow at times. There is space for two cars to park comfortably, and for three smaller cars. Depending on the size of your vehicles, it may be easier to park parallel to the retaining wall in front of the parking area opposed to perpendicular.
