This roomy 4 Bedroom/ 3 Bath Townhome in Mammoth Lakes California is a great choice for families. In the winter this unit is located just a few steps away from the Red Line Shuttle stop for your skiing convenience, enjoy a day of outdoor delights or take a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and movie theaters. In the evenings, dine out and taste Mammoth's nightlife or dine in and relax in front of the big-screen TV and take in a movie. Enjoy this spacious vacation home with a common area spa, sauna, and laundry facilities. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1900 sq.ft with 2 parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Dirty, Smell and Rat Running in The House

The carpet is very dirty. The whole property is smell very heavily and a rat was running in the house on the first day of stay.

Wouldn't Stay Here Again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is very outdated. There is no washer and dryer. The dishwasher broke (but was fixed the next day). The couch is showing its stuffing. I wouldn't stay here again.

Dark and uninviting

This condo is very old and in need of some serious deep cleaning. At the very least the carpets should be cleaned and the throw rugs washed. We've come to Mammoth often and this is by far the worst condo that we have stayed at. The only thing it had that we needed was four bedrooms and three baths. Had to spray febreeze everywhere the smell was so bad.

This is our best VRBO experience to date since we started renting vacation properties 12 years ago. And what a nice fireplace that actually heats up the home and has a beautiful vintage look.

First day, after moving in, we saw a rat(we know the difference between a rat and a mouse) at the trash can, in the kitchen, we moved the trash, and it ran into the master bedroom. We set out a trap, didn't catch anything and didn't see or hear the rat again.I am not looking for a refund just advising the owners of the problem.

Either way we apologize, this tends to happen in Mammoth once winter hits living in a National Forest, the little critters sometimes make their way inside. The condo was perfect for our large family; we were a group of 10. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Recommendations: Provide a surplus of trash bags, cleaning supplies, paper towels, towels in general for large groups. However, the overall experience was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chateau de Montagne #3 is nice 4 bedroom 3 bath condo conveniently located near shopping and the bus line. It's set up for a large group of friends (or a family with lots of kids) with modest furnishings and lots of beds. Quantity is the key word. It was clean and the kitchen was equipped with almost all of the tools and appliances you could want. It's a short walk to the hot tub which is an added bonus after a great day of mountain activity. I would not only recommend it, with the right group of friends, I would stay there again.

Excellent location, large property, nice upgrades, many bathrooms, 2 car parking permits

Went there for a summer fishing trip. 5 Adults, 3 kids. Beds were comfy, the living room, kitchen were nicely appointed, and had plenty of seating/lounging areas for everyone. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had most everything we needed. we cooked breakfast everyday there, as well as grilled skewers and made pulled pork and oven baked chicken without needing any extra wares except for skewers. There is a dishwasher and flat screen HD tv's with satellite. Two parking spots/permits, which was a huge plus. You could walk to Vons from there.
