This most sought after location in the complex is a ground floor corner unit offering privacy and just 10 paces away from one of the two almost private beaches, where you may find yourself alone.(Be aware that the beaches are subject to tidal erosion). There are two huge shade trees above for when that sunburn beckons a shady place to enjoy panoramic ocean views with Lanai and Molokai in the background.
Beach chairs, towels and snorkeling gear are provided if you wish to swim with the turtles feeding at the waters edge. Please don't touch them as we would like them to return each day. Seasonal whale watching and spinner dolphins from your lanai and an ever changing ocean show of breathtaking sunsets, sunrises, rainbows and even moonbows over lanai and molokai. World class surfing and paddle boarding from your backyard.

You truly have found paradise.

If a pool is more inviting, enjoy luxuriating under the maui sun in the large pool that is heat controlled to maintain an enjoyable swim no matter the weather. Stroll through the beautiful grounds of the kuleana resort, take advantage of the on-site tennis, shuffleboard court or enjoy a game of ping-pong in the spacious open air lobby complete with library and an assortment of toys for children. The condominium was completely remodeled in 2014 with tile and granite surfaces , is tastefully furnished and decorated with incredible photographic art. Ceiling fans provide ambiance and comfort in the living room and bedroom. Air conditioning in the bedroom will keep the whole apartment at an even, cool temperature if the trade breezes coming down the slopes of the west maui mountains are not sufficient. All linens are new, high quality and high thread count.A fully equipped laundry is onsite so pack light.

This is as close to the ocean as you can get at Kuleana.The sunsets are dramatic and it’s sometimes difficult to tear yourself away fro the lanai, especially when whales are breaching right in front of you. Hurry back George!

Perfect location for the relaxing vacation we wanted. The property was beautiful, the views cannot be beat. Sea turtles right on the beach steps from the unit. The condo was clean and well supplied. Many restaurants close by.

Super location steps from the beach- and turtles !!

Super trip, very relaxing. Unit had a full well equipped kitchen, snorkeling gear; we could enjoy immediately without having to buy more. The beach is small but literally steps away, quiet and beautiful; very easy to snorkel, swim; and turtles are a regular feature! THE VIEW was fantastic and sitting on our porch In front of the grass and beach was hard to improve upon. The condo was clean, functional and reasonably updated/renovated. The bedroom was clean and functional with AC (loud but I didn't care). Definitely recommend and would go back. Enjoy!!

Great location but needs a little tlc

Can't beat the location but unit definitely needs a deep clean. AC is only in bedroom and found it too loud to be able to sleep with it on. Unfortunately wouldn't return. But the neighborhood is great.

Stayed for a week. John was so easy to work with. His and Val's property is truly the best unit in the complex. Turtles were amazing came right up on shore. Nice little beach area, but view and trees that line this property are such a plus. Trees shade patio area so you can sit out and not have that direct sun in late afternoon and its an end unit. Pool was great and refreshing, landscape beautiful. Snorkling right out front and close to shops and restraunts. Unit furnished nicely and bed very comfortable. Air condition worked well and was needed. Also really quite at night which was great for us after full days. would stay here again for sure. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay in Maui.

Beautiful patio view

The property is very nice and peaceful. The pool is great and the landscaping is beautiful. The view from the patio, especially at sunset, is great! The beach access is located near this unit so it was a little busy outside at times near our patio with guests heading to the water. The ac in the bedroom is a little loud when it’s on at night but works very well to make the room comfortable. The rest of the unit doesn’t have ac. The breeze from the patio makes the living room area comfortable but the bathroom got a little muggy at times. Having the beach chairs and other beach toys available for our use was very helpful. The location is nice with good snorkeling nearby and the easy drive to Front St for shopping and dining options. We enjoyed our stay.

Paradise

The best way to describe this hidden gem is paradise. We will be returning next summer for two weeks. We spent 7 nights swimming in the ocean that is 15 steps away, snorkeling, jumping waves, watching turtles swim by, and sipping coffee on the lanai. It was the most relaxing trip we've ever had. Some mornings we didn't even want to leave because the view and our "private" beach were amazing. We found our beach to be better than most of the other well-known beaches. The condo is perfectly described on the site. The bed was beyond comfortable and I slept wonderfully. The kitchen had everything you need including condiments, spices, and oil to cook. Boogie boards, snorkels, and beach chairs were also provided. We became friends with our neighbors and ended up going hiking and out to many restaurants with them. We can't wait to book this condo again!! This time we will stay longer.

Fantastic Honeymoon!

What can we say!!! John and Val's place is in a slice of heaven! We stayed 8 days at this condo for part of our Honeymoon. Walking out to the water right from the slider was exactly what we were looking for. Having the beach area right in front of the our door was perfect. The most amazing views either right from the lanai or from the couch at night listening to the waves crash on the shore. Saw a bunch of turtles that swam right by daily. The waves were pretty crazy, but still manageable. (Snorkeling gear and boogie boards and chairs were provided) Inside the condo was a perfect setup for two. Would have liked an a/c in the living room area too (we bought a fan) but we knew going in there was only one in the bedroom. Great small kitchen set up, with plenty of appliances to use. Great big Curved TV! Couch was a little uncomfortable after a long day of exploring, but we made it work. Parking spaces are very tight, we got a warning for barely parking on the line. But overall everything was wonderful! We hIghly recommend this spot! Our only wish was that we lived closer to make the return trip sooner. Kimi B - Massachusetts

Wonderful View!

My wife and I had an amazing 10 days for our 31st anniversary! The condo is quiet, seems recently remodeled, and has everything we needed in the kitchen and for the bbq. The foam-top bed was extremely comfortable, the reclining sofas were also comfortable, and the shower had very strong water pressure. It can get warm and humid in Maui, but the front door had a metal locking screen that allowed the trade winds to blow through the house, and that combined with the fans and water 20 steps from the back door kept us cool most of the time. At night, the bedroom air conditioning kept the room very cool and the white noise was soothing. But the BEST part about this condo was the location! It’s a corner unit and very private as there’s no beach access from the road. We loved sitting on the lanai to hear the waves or watch the sunset. We also snorkeled off the small beach directly in front of the back door, and saw 4-5 turtles every time (apparently this is a turtle habitat)! Several timeshare guests told me we had the premiere location, and we agreed! We also felt that this is the best part of the island! 7 minutes from Kapalua Bay where there is a beach trail, lots of sand, amazing snorkeling, and you can rent kayaks and paddle boards! 10 minutes from Honolua Bay, the best snorkeling spot on Maui, where the boat tours go. 5 minutes from Kaanapali, with shopping and restaurants. The beach chairs and umbrella were definitely nice to have! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Amazing all around

John and his wife are amazing people! I'll start with the basics. The condo was clean and very well appointed. Everything you would need to make your vacation fun and comfortable, we had guests in other rooms jealous of our water toys. The location is unbeatable! Just steps away from a small but perfect beach with amazing waves (can be heard from the bedroom). No turtles came on the beach itself, but we saw many from the lanai, and walking the grounds (which are beautiful). Now to the good stuff (sorry if it gets long). We got to the condo about 30 minutes before the fire in Lahaina started and we had not gone to the grocery store before we got there. So, no power and no food, panic set in. John called the next morning to check if we were ok and we let him know of our situation. He did not hesitate to let us have access to some food they had in the condo and expressed the utmost concern and love. Might be a little dramatic but this literally saved my life as I'm a diabetic and really needed to eat. His wife also called the next day to confirm we were ok. Ty, the property manager also came through in a big way and gave me a box of protein bars to keep me feed till we could go to town to get some basics. The entire staff at the complex was amazing! Helpful in just being decent humans taking care of others and keeping us updated when they could. When West Maui recovers we will be going back and will be staying in this condo again. Mahalo!

Quality condo

My experience at this condo matches many of the earlier reviews. The condo itself is very practical. It was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. The corner unit ground-floor had great access to the front lawn and a great view of the ocean. It had perfect waves for paddle borders as there were many out front, mostly in the mornings. The beach chairs and umbrella were used quite a lot. John was very accessible during the whole process of renting and our stay. Will definitely stay in this unit if and when we return to the island. Amazing spot in Paradise

Why would I stay in a fancy resort when I could stay about 20yds from turtles on a beach, and ocean waves. The view is totally breath taking. Me and my wife ate outside for all our meals when at the unit. I seen a pregnant lady go snorkeling with a partner, and surfer go surfing right behind the unit. John is the best host so I wouldn't hesitate when booking this unit.

Absolute Paradise

This place is absolutely perfect! Literally steps from the beach and front row seats to Maui's gorgeous sunsets. Close to eating, shopping, and everything you need. The place was spotless, comfy, and well stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful with recommendations and making sure we got settled in alright. Couldn't have picked a better place!

Amazing turtle and sunset viewing spot!

We loved this place! The location could not be any better. Snorkeling out there was perfect…literally surrounded by turtles. The sunsets are magical. The place is quiet and also has a great swimming beach. Parking is ample. Love love loved it and we will definitely be back!
