Birches Lodge is an Adirondack Style Lodge situated on beautiful Mirror Lake. A 5 minute walk has you enjoying Main Street in Lake Placid with shops, restaurants and beautiful scenery.

Birches Lodge amenities include fully stocked kitchen, formal dining room, fireplace in the great room as well a paddle board and canoe to explore the lake. Enjoy the lake from the dock for swimming and boating, the hot tub on the deck or ice skating in the winter.

Birches Lodge is close to all the attractions of the Olympic Region, including the Olympic Jumping Center, Mt. Von Hoevenberg Bobsled/Skeleton and Luge tracks, Whiteface and Gore Mountain Ski Areas.

Such a great house. A beautiful location for an ADK vacation. We love evening walks around Lake Placid, hiking up Cobblehill without having to take a car, and just watching the lake from the dock. The house has everything we needed for a great trip. We’ve stayed here multiple times and hope to return again next year.

The home was better than expected, wonderfully appointed and perfect location to explore all of what the area has to offer. The hosts were available for any questions and were very accommodating. This was our first time to Lake Placid and we're here for a family wedding. We hope to come back.

We had a wonderful 4 generation stay at Birches Lodge. The pictures are accurate; the property was clean and welcoming. Check-in, check-out procedures were clear and reasonable. Kitchen had plenty of supplies and dishes, and also plentiful were indoor games and outdoor/lake games, canoes, kayaks, sup, and life vests in varied sizes. The hosts are very responsive and invested in insuring guests have a top-notch experience. Highly recommend this beautiful lake property in walking distance to downtown.

Gorgeous property on a pristine setting at Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. The entire property was incredibly clean and well appointed with linens and towels. The kitchen had all the utensils one would need to feed a houseful of guests. The hot tub worked well and was used most nights. Plenty of parking with a huge garage and oversized driveway so there’s never a need to back onto busy Mirror Lake Drive. Very quiet despite being on the busy thoroughfare. It would be nice if there was more than one key available as we city dwellers felt uncomfortable leaving the doors unlocked when we went out. All appliances were in good working condition. Spectacular main suite upstairs perfect for families with small children. Everyone said they’d love to come back and stay right here again.

This is a wonderful house in a super spot. The view of mirror lake each morning and watching the fog roll off the lake is amazing. The hot tub, the dock, the location, all make this such a great vacation spot. We also appreciate how clean the house is. This was our 5th visit, and hoping to come back again next year

An excellent family stay

We lucked out and had beautiful weather while staying at a beautiful and comfortable residence! The hot tub was a lot of fun and the kids loved the two visiting ducks. We loved our stay there. It was great to be with family all in one place.
