This beautiful direct sailboat access home sits on a wide salt water canal just seconds from the Caloosahatchee River and a short boat ride to the beautiful open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This remodeled 1,793 sq. ft. totally furnished waterfront home includes a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room, dining room, breakfast area, 2-car attached garage and laundry room. The home features a 1,575 sq. ft. lanai with heated swimming pool and large patio area. This is a boater’s dream location. Boat rental available.

Enjoy relaxing sunsets by the heated pool which overlooks a wide canal or venture to the stunning white beaches of Sanibel Island, Fort Myers Beach or Captiva which are all just minutes down the road. This is the perfect getaway for the entire family or couple looking for a romantic retreat.

Restaurants, shopping and the Cape Coral Yacht club are just a short drive away. Baseball fans don’t forget about spring training, we have the Red Sox and Twins here from the third week of February until the end of March.

We enjoyed our family vacation. We fished everyday, went out to the Gulf of America and caught fish. Easy access to the water ways. The house was well stocked with everything you need. The host, Scott was very gracious and accommodating. We kept our boat docked right out back and could jump on it easily. Even kept the trailer there at the house. We will definitely be back!Even had a bonus, there were Burrowing Owls right out the front door.Thank you Scott!

A great holiday

We had a great time stopping at Scott ‘s place. It’s in a great location right next to the river ideal for Fishing. We will definitely be in touch with Scott next time we are heading to Cape Coral.

BEST vacation ever

I can’t say enough great things about our stay. The house was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The pool was amazing. We added on the boat rental and it was the cherry on top. So many great places nearby to boat to. Scott was so friendly and a breeze to communicate with. Our family is already working on planning a trip back next year. Book it, you won’t regret it!!

Great Escape

This property was perfect for a week away. The house and pool were exactly what we were looking for. The house was clean and spacious with plenty of gathering room. The pool was spot on. It was well maintained and just a couple of steps from the living room. The host was kind and courteous. We were impressed when he reached out mid week to make sure everything was going well. Again the property and the host could not have been any better.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

First I would like to say that the home is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen and living area were our favorite hangouts besides being outside on the boat dock looking out into the canal. The back yard over looks the canal so you can be swimming and watching the boats go by. Cape Coral and this neighborhood have become one of our favorite places and we will definitely be back. I can't say enough good things about Scott. Talked with him several times and he was always so friendly. Like I have known him forever. We rented the boat for several days and during that time had met several of Scott's friends who were also great to us. Thanks Scott for sharing your Florida home with us. Hope to stay again soon!

Awesome Last Minute Trip

Our plans to leave the state fell through because of the hurricane so we decided to book a local place but far enough away to feel like a vacation. We booked the night before we left and everything was set for us to arrive the next day. Everything in the house was perfect for my hubby, kids and grampy. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had dinner and groceries delivered to the house without any problems. The pool was fantastic. Everything was clean and ready for our use. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We enjoyed walking our dog around the neighborhood and everyone we passed (when we passed anyone at all) was quite friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great last minute trip!

The check-in process was easy; the owner was accessible prior to our stay. The property was in a good location. The pool and the yard were very well maintained. There were plenty of amenities (full kitchen, washer/dryer).However, there was a problem with air conditioning that started on day 3 of a 7 day stay. The temperature routinely rose to the mid 80s inside the house. The owner was diligent in contacting different HVAC companies who came over multiple times. The problem was not solved, and I had to spend time on the phone with owner and deal with HVAC technicians frequently during my vacation. I should not have to deal with this. One of the things that was done by one of the owner's contacts was to remove all of the air conditioner filters. The condition of the filters was deplorable. They were heavily soiled and per the owner, had not been changed since January, our stay was in early August, and this was in SW Florida heat. This not only blocked air flow and possible affected the unit but presented a health issue as well. Additionally, the refrigerator water filter was used up (on zero) and not changed. The sliding glass door would not lock and the couch in the living room was broken. Privacy was also an issue as there were no window treatments from the front door to the pool and lanai area. You could see directly from the street through to the pool area. This also contributed to the heat problem. Routine maintenance would go a long way.

Expectations Exceeded!

Every summer we typically go to the Keys for a week of vacation: fishing, boating, relaxing... but we wanted to do something different this year and still wanted to be on the West Coast so we found this and hoped for the best. The BEST is what we got. The canal was perfectly located on the water with easy access to the river and the Gulf. The dockage was PERFECT for our boat. The pool was great to get in after a hot day on the boat. Even better, my fur baby was able to join. The neighborhood was calm/quiet. Scott was an awesome host and his place offers everything you could think of and even the stuff you wouldn't think about. There's so many things close by, it's really the perfect getaway for any group!

Really nice house on a wide canal 2 minutes from the river and about 30 minutes tops to the Gulf! Close to Sanibel Island and Captiva islands. We loved the property! The home is nicely spacious. The decor a little dated, however, It didn’t matter as it was very comfortable. The lanai and pool were excellent. What a view! Had a small problem with the pool skimmer, but Scott the owner called the pool cleaning company right away. Loved all the birds, especially the owlets nesting in the neighborhood. We look forward to booking again next year!

Scott, the owner is GREAT. Available and helpful with the few questions we had. The location is superb. We rented his boat and were out in the river in 5 minutes. Gorgeous views outside. The inside of the house looks exactly like the pictures. I wish the decor was outdated but I wouldn't trade the house location for a newer inside......we will be back again!

Peaceful and Tranquil

This property is located in a great subdivision. Very quiet and every morning the view from the canal is beautiful. The Lanai was wonderful to sit out on for your morning coffee and the pool was spectacular. The furnishings and decor are a bit dated but everything was comfortable and Scott was amazing and very responsive. All in all it was a GREAT vacation and we would recommend anyone to stay here! The owner Scott is really nice and the house was perfect for our family. The L shape is perfect for having the kids in one side of the house and the adults in the other. Had a Great Time!

This was a really good vacation for us. House was very nice, and we enjoyed many hours hanging out by the pool and dock areas. Location was excellent, it was easy to get to restaurants, stores, beaches and other places, like the rum tasting spot! There are a few TLC items but nothing that would stop us from returning.

Review for Coral Avenue vacation rental.

House need TLC. Lacking many things. Large SUV in the garage so it was unusable for a second car, ice maker didn’t work, no BBQ grill. House had low watt bulbs and you could barely see. Master bath shower was dangerous for elderly, no handicap bars and guest bath shower floor was slippery and shower door was so shaky you didn’t want to hold on to it for fear of it breaking. And it also had no handicap bars. Furniture was uncomfortable and house was just old and needs some serious TLC. Location is beautiful but even the outside furniture is old and some of it broken. Felt very shortchanged. We feel we spend a sufficient amount of money and didn’t get what we paid for.
