Laurel Cabin is a rustic riverside log cabin located between Boone and Blowing Rock. A short six minute drive will take you to Downtown Blowing Rock where you will find local dining and shopping, in addition to the community park. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, about five minutes from the cabin, for scenic overlooks and numerous hiking trails. Nestled in the mountains, this modern cabin seamlessly combines comfort and style. A striking stone fireplace anchors the living area, surrounded by inviting leather furniture. Large windows offer sweeping mountain views, blurring the lines between indoors and nature. Modern design touches, from the well-appointed kitchen to tasteful decor, create a cozy yet refined atmosphere. It`s the perfect retreat, where you can relax by the fire, admire the mountain scenery, and immerse yourself in both comfort and natural beauty.

We recommend snow chains and AWD/4WD during the winter in the High Country in case of inclement weather.

Very cozy and open for cabin living, very close to all attractions and the beds were comfortable. Once ski season starts, this will be very convenient to the slopes as well! Highly recommend!

Had a great weekend in Blowing Rock! This cabin is super clean, close to restaurants/ shops, and has everything you could need for a winter weekend! Our two dogs love staying inside beside the fireplace while my friend and I soaked in the hot tub! Will definitely be back next winter!

Very rustic cabin with a gas fireplace. Clean and cozy! Stream near the cabin was so relaxing. Even did some fly fishing. Only a few minutes away from Blowing Rock.

Mini ski vacation

Location was super easy to get to and very convenient to Boone and blowing rock. We stayed 3 nights, beds were comfy and had lots of soft blankets. It had snowed the day we arrived so everything looked like Christmas. The house is rustic and kitchen has very basic cooking stuff. The hot tub was clean and hot, perfect after a day of skiing.

Beautiful and cozy!

This ended up being the perfect place for my family of three given that we were in the area for one night for a trip to Tweetsie Railroad. The proximity was perfect and it's only too bad we had to head down to Asheville the next day because we would love to have stayed longer! The fire was great and the hot tub was wonderful.

This property is located between Blowing Rock and Boone. Perfect location for all your next adventures. The cabin was very clean and has everything you need. The sheets were amazing! I found the tag and have already ordered some. He fireplace and hot tub made the whole mountain experience complete.

Great location

We were looking for a place to stay the night to take our kids tubing at Hawksnest, and this one fit the bill because we could also bring our dog (it's pet-friendly. Just off the main road between Boon and Blowing Rock, it's a great location if you're doing Tweetsie and is practically right across the road from Appalachian Ski Resort.However, it is purely the bare minimum. The cabin is small, for a family with four adult-sized people, and the kitchen was not stocked with necessities if you're planning on doing any cooking.

Great location and cute cabin from the outside. Inside needs lots of TLC, blinds broken, sofa smells like dogs and sleeper sofa mattress worn and needs to be replaced. Very cold outside and windows were drafty. While I appreciate the availability of one nights stay the unit was grossly overpriced for what we got.

Nice little cabin, but dirty!

The cabin is in a great location close to everything. It was filthy though! I wore sandals the entire time I stayed. I ran my finger across the floor and picked up lots of dust after realizing my feet were filty. The sofa was covered in dog hair. There were cigarette butts left in the ash tray outside. It was a mess.

Very quaint cabin. Comfortable and well equipped. Property was extremely clean, inside and outside. It was very easy to access with keypad lock. We could have used extra pillows, but since we only used one of the bedrooms we took the two pillows from the extra room. The cabin is right off the main road so at times it was a bit noisy in the middle of the night. It was nice to have the Hot tub, it was clean and worked well. Internet was strong. There are plenty of window air conditioner units to get it cool. We did not use the fireplace. There is also a charcoal grill on premises that we did not use. It’s very close to Blowing Rock and a great place for a weekend getaway.
